Jatketaan romulla ja romppeella. Meillä oli sunnuntaina isännän kanssa vähän tylsää joten lähdimme hieman ajelemaan.

Tuolla Tampereen laitamilla, Pinsiössä, on putiikki nimeltä Pehtoori. Olen käynyt siellä ensimmäisiä kertoja jo vuosia sitten, taitaapa olla lähemmäs kymmenkunta vuotta peräti. Silloin Pehtoori oli mielestäni pelkkään antiikki-tavaraan keskittynyt liike. Nyt valikoimaan oli lisätty myös uutta sisustustavaraa, enkä kyllä ole varma että pidinkö muutoksesta. Vanhaa ja antiikkitavaraa oli vähemmän, joskin varsin mielenkiintoista, kuten vaikkapa vanhoja lintuhäkkejä, ranskalaisia 1800-luvun postikortteja ja vanhoja herbaarion sivuja. Uusien sisustusesineiden valikoimasta löytyi mm. emalikylttejä, tekstiilejä ja ripustuskoukkuja.

Liiketila oli sama mutta se vaikutti jotenkin tyhjemmältä ja tylsemmältä. Shabby-chic-sisustajalle paikka on varmasti unelma, mutta omasta mielestäni valikoimassa oli ehkä vähän liikaa uutta tavaraa. Ehkä imagoa on hiottu enemmän lifestyle/sisustus-putiikin suuntaan? Itse kyllä tykkään nimenomaan juuri shabby chic-tyylistä (kertokaa nyt onko näitä samantapaisia sisustustyylejä muitakin? Oon niin ulkona kuvioista!), mutta monilla myyjillä/putiikeilla on tapana höystää sitä tyyliä vähän liikaa valkoisella, ja itse en taas sistuksessa tykkää valkoisesta niin paljoa. Valkoinen väri tekee minulle itselleni liian kliinisen ja harkitun fiiliksen. Niinkuin monessa sisustusputiikissa nykyään, myös Pehtoorissa on pieni kahvila, joten siellä voi poiketa vaikka sunnuntai-kahvilla.

Ja nyt kun tutkin vähän interweppiä niin heillä näyttää nykyään olevan putiikki myös Tampereen keskustassa, Antiikkiliike Anna-Stiina. Pitäisiköhän käydä keskustassa vähän useammin sillä tämä oli täysi yllätys. Ehkäpä enemmän tavaraa löytyykin sieltä ja tuo Pinsiön putiikki oli siksi tyhjempi.

Let’s continue with junk. Me and my hubby had a boring sunday so we decided to drive around.

Away from town, in Pinsiö, is a boutique called Pehtoori (pehtoori, in engl. estate manager or farm manager, old profession,  there isn’t really much of them left now in Finland). I have visited there first time years ago, must be now almost ten years ago. At that time Pehtoori was a little shop selling antique and other old junk. Now they have expanded their range into new interior decoration, and I’m not sure if I like it or not. There was less antique  than before, however it was quite interesting like old birdcages, french postcards from 1800’s and pages from old herbarium. Modern stuff was enamel signs, textiles, hangers etc.

Space was the same but it looked more boring and empty than before. It probably is a dream place for  shabby chic-lover, but I thought there was a bit too much new stuff there. Perhaps their image is now more towards of a lifestyle-boutique? Don’t get me wrong, I do like shabby chic style myself (do tell me is there already other similar styles aswell? I’m so out of interior decoration business!), but many shops/sellers want to mix it too much with white and I don’t like white that much on interior decoration. White colour gives me a feeling of a too clinical and considered space.  Like in many interior deco-boutique nowadays, they also have a little cafe, so you can stop by just for Sunday coffee.

And now after browsing the interwebs I realize they also have another shop in town, Antique shop Anna-Stiina. Perhaps I should visit town a bit more often, because this was a complete surprise. Perhaps they have more stuff in that shop rather than in Pinsiö, and that might be the reason why it looked so empty to me.

Itseäni tietenkin kiinnostivat eniten vanhat vaatteet, 
kuten nämä vuosisadan vaihteen alusvaatteet. /
