Jaiks! Joulukuu. Hyvät suunnitelmat järjestää teille joulukalenteri menivät näköjään pieleen. Mutta lohdutukseksi näytän teille millaisen kampauksen sain lauantaina. 30-luvun tyylinen permanentti ja hehkuvan punainen väri (aika paljon parempi kuin se edellinen itse laittamani). Me happy!

Yikes! December. My good plans to organize a christmas calendar for you were busted. But atleast I can show you the new hairdo I got saturday. 30’s style perm curls and flaming red colour (quite a lot better than the colour I did myself). Me happy!
Oh wow! can I *whistle*? You had a perm? I keep wondering if that would be any use to me and my deadstraight hair.
superheidi – Yes, my friend is hairdresser and I went to her because she knows more about vintage hairdo’s than ordinary hairdressers. I asked for perm that would give me 30’s style curls and give me some freedom on lazy days when I can’t be bothered with setting my hair. She uses products that are little bit more gentle on hair than the usual perm chemicals, but I forgot to ask what. Curls were done with two different medium-size permrolls and on the sides and back they were curled vertically. I got this on saturday and I haven’t washed my hair yet (that’s what they advice after getting perm) so it is yet to be seen how it looks after first wash.
My hair is also deadstraight, and when I set it with rolls or rags, the curls stay about one day. If even that. So I got tired with the eternal setting and setting and setting and decided to get perm to ease up my lazy days.

AnneVee – aijaa, en ole kyllä päivittäny wordpressiä vähään aikaan että sieltä päästä ei ainaskaan ole muutoksia tehty, ellei sitten joku automaaginen päivitys ole mennyt, enkä ole blogiin muutenkaan mitään muutoksia nyt tehnyt. Itsehän en noita syötteenlukijoita käytä ollenkaan enkä niistä mitään ymmärrä, musta on kivempi käydä lukemassa ihan suoraa siellä blogissa itsessään…
AnneVee – selvitin että mistä on kysymys ja minä itse siihen olen syyllinen. Feed näyttää enää vaan pienen pätkän postauksista. Tein tämän muutoksen tarkoituksella. Pahoittelen jos siitä on lukijoille haittaa. Tämän linkin takaa voi lukea lisää syistä miksi tein muutoksen. En erityisemmin halua että blogini voidaan lisätä minulta lupaa kysymättä palveluihin joissa jokaista yksittäistä postausta voidaan kommentoida minun siitä tietämättä yhtään mitään. Jos tästä nyt ihmisille tulee hirveästi haittaa niin saatan harkita feedin muuttamista takaisin, mutta katsotaan nyt.
Voi hitto, en ollu tienny tuollaisesta. Mä tykkään lukea blogit syötteenlukijalla, kun se on niin nopsaa, kun ei tarvii jokaista erikseen klikata auki. Tyhmiä tuollaiset sivut, ku vaikeuttavat minunki elämää!
hahaha, I should visit Finland then… :) I know one hairdresser in Amsterdam that’s into oldfashioned sets. But more in a 1950s way. I hesistate to go 1930s with her.
What is the style of your cut, a middy? I love 1930s hair, but yeah, too lazy or modern to set my hair often. Curls last for one evening. Pincurls dried overnight will go for a day. if the weather isn’t too moist, which is seldom. :) I really like your look, it is modern as well, so will contemplate…
It looks amazing. I always think of horrible 80s hair when I think of perms but yours is fabulous.

AnneVee – joo en mäkään tiennyt tuosta mitään ennenkuin vajaa viikko sitten kuulin. En tiedä että lisäileekö ne uusia blogeja syötteistä sinne miten ahkeraan, mutta ei tää nykyinen blogi sieltä ainakaan vielä löytynyt eikä tarvitse löytyäkään. Harmi jos tää nyt hankaloittaa kovasti lukemista mutta otan tosiaan mieluiten kommentit suoraan tänne blogiin enkä jonkun random-palvelun sivuille, enkä mä niin kovasti kaipaa uusia lukijoita että välttämättä haluaisin blogini jokaiseen mahdolliseen listaukseen.
superheidi – I’m sure you can find someone to do it, although I have heard that vintage-style hairdressers are few and far between. Haha, actually my current cut is overgrown modern layered and feathered style I got last December (can be seen here). I haven’t had it cut since then. And my friend just cut off the dry and old ends that were in such bad shape they didn’t even curl at all. That evened out the ends a bit. She is also a bit iffy with 30’s look, she says she hates to do waves. I said to her that 30’s style curls would be great but if they don’t happen, I won’t die. But these turned out fine. Perhaps you can search for instructions on 30’s curls and show them and talk to that vintage-hairdresser you know, she might surprise you :D And after all, it will all grow back in time.
Camelia – Thank you :D I got my first perm in the 80’s and even then it looked pretty horrible (unfortunately there’s proof of it in my school photos ;) ) . I have had perm only couple times since my teenage years :D But actually last time when I got one, about two-three years ago it was pretty good. And now I when I finally got bored on always setting my hair with rolls or rags, I thought why not. But I have to admit, even curls look better if you have good colour on your hair. That’s why I like to get the colour at the same time if possible.
RautaNeito – Kiitos, malli tosiaan on ylikasvanut moderni kerrostettu leikkaus viime joulukuulta josta nyt vaan napsaistiin huonokuntoiset ja kuivat latvat pois. Kiharat on siitä helpot että niitä voi pinnien kanssa asetella vähän miten sattuu ja aina on kivan näköinen kampaus :D Sopii hyvin tämmösille laiskamadoille kuin minä joka ei jaksa joka jumalan ilta pistää niitä sormi- tai rättikiharoita.
