Pienempää anti-elikkoa kohtasi tässä taannoin ikävä takaisku. Herra Hurmaava joutui lääkärisedän tarkistettavaksi takajalkaan ilmestyneen epämääräisen tulehtuneen patin vuoksi. Vaikka Herra oli vakaasti itse sitä mieltä että “mä mitään lääkäriä tartte” päätti isäntäväki kuitenkin viedä Herran lääkärikäynnille vaivalloisen kävelyn vuoksi. Lääkäri totesi patin verrattain vaarattomaksi mutta määräsi kuitenkin aristavaan jalkaan hoitavaa geeliä. Parin päivän hoidon jälkeen jalka näyttääkin jo paremmalta ja rotta-herra verrattain tyytyväiselle.
No mitäpä sitten kuuluu toiselle anti-lemmikille? Neiti Omahyväisyys voi paksusti kuten aina, niin vatsansisällön kuin karvoituksenkin osalta. Karvankasvu ja -lähtö tuntuu olevan maksimiluokkaa oli vuodenaika mikä hyvänsä. Oheisesta kuvasta voitte todeta normaalin 10 minuutin kampauksen tuloksen. Jos emäntä on vähän laiskana eikä jaksa jahdata kampaamis-kammoista kissaa ihan joka viikko niin tuloksena on muhkeat takut jotka lähtevätkin sitten vain saksien kanssa. Ja kyllä, puhun nimenomaan kampaamisesta sillä harjat eivät tähän turkkiin tehoa. Furminator on vieläkin hankkimatta. Huomatkaa erityisesti kammatun karvan ja anti-katin väriero. Päällyskarva on enimmäkseen tummanruskeaa ja paksu aluskarva jota kammatessa pääasiassa irtoaa on vaaleanharmaata.

Little anti-pet of ours had recently rather annoying setback. Mister Charming had to go to vet for check. He had weird lump on his backleg and it looked a bit infected. Even though rat himself thought “I need no doctor” we thought it might be best to take him for a check, because he seemed to drag the leg a bit. Doctor said it doesn’t seem very serious but prescribed healing gel for it. And now after couple days, leg looks much better and Mr Rat seems rather jolly.
What about our other anti-pet? Miss Self-content is feeling chubby as always, as much on the belly-wise as on the fur-wise. Both fur growth and shedding of hair seem to be at their maximum, despite of what ever the season. You can see the result of 10 minute combing from the photo enclosed. If the owner is a bit lazy and doesn’t do combing every week result is big knots all around, that only come off with scissors. Problem is that kitty hates combing and usually runs away when I try to comb her fur. And yes, combing, not brushing. Brushes don’t work on this fur. I still haven’t got the famous Furminator. And notice especially the colour difference between Anti-kitty and loose hair. Top hair is mostly dark brown and the thick warming hair underneath (is there a proper english term for it?), which comes off when combing, is light gray.
