Ettei tää menis ihan pelkäksi kenkäilyksi niin ehkä pitää postata jostain muustakin. Yleensä Englannin matkoilla pysymme pois Lontoosta sillä isäntä ei hirveästi siitä hektisestä menosta perusta ja hyviä ostospaikkoja (edellyttäen että niitä edes etsii) löytyy kyllä muualtakin. Tällä kertaa kuitenkin kinusin päiväretken Lontooseen joulutohotusta katsomaan. Ja aikamoista tohotusta se kyllä olikin. Kadut olivat täynnä ihmisiä ja tungos oli aika ahdistava. Kengänmetsästyksen lomassa kuitenkin sen verran ehdimme vilkuilla ympärillemme että näimme Oxford streetin ja muiden lähikatujen jouluvalot. Melskettä pakoon kävelimme Hyde Parkiin jossa Winter Wonderland tarjosi jouluisia huvipuisto-ajeluja lapsille ja lapsenmielisille. Allekirjoittaneen sisäkalut eivät kestä hurjaa menoa vemputtimissa, mutta maailmanpyörään kyllä kiipesin mielelläni. Likaisista ikkunoista huolimatta maisemat olivat varsin kiehtovat. Not to make this blog just a shoe-orientated I suppose I should post about something else for awhile. Usually when visiting England, we stay away from London. My boyfriend is not a big fan of that too fast pace of life and there is plentiful of good shopping places elswhere (assuming you are searching for shopping places). This time I begged for daytrip to London, to see the christmas madness. And what a madness it was. Streets were full of people and crowd was rather disturbing. Alongside the shoe hunt we had time to snoop around to see Oxford & Regent street christmas lights. To escape the madness we walked to the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. My internal bits can’t handle the rides in those machines, but Ferris wheel I gladly entered. Despite of dirty windows the view was amazing. Photo parade if you please.
