Se on sitten uusi vuosi ja uudet kujeet. Kulunut vuosi oli monella tapaa aika raskas ja ahdistavakin. Tapanani ei ole tehdä uudenvuodenlupauksia koska niitä harvoin pystyn pitämään. Sen sijaan hyviä tavoitteita rohkenen asettaa ja toivon että ne tekevät tulevasta vuodesta edeltäjäänsä paremman. Tälle vuodelle olen ajatellut seuraavaa:

Vuonna 2017 haluan
– perehtyä puutarhanhoitoon ja hyötykasveihin
– aloittaa hortoilun
– kehittyä baletissa ja kärkitossutekniikassa
– ommella lisää historiallisia asuja
– säästää rahaa
– saada uutta potkua ja intoa omaan työhön

Lisäksi olen miettinyt blogiin jonkinlaista kasvojenkohotusta tai uudistusta, mutta mitään ei ole vielä lyöty lukkoon. Tuntuu kuitenkin sille että blogi tarvitsisi nyt jotakin virkistystä. Haluatko ehdottaa muutoksia? Nyt on tilaisuutesi. Jos haluaisit nähdä jotakin uutta ja virkistävää, jätä kommentti. Ehdotus voi olla ulkonäöllinen, sisällöllinen tai blogin käytettävyyteen liittyvä. En ole unohtanut aiemminkaan tehtyjä postausehdotuksia (mm. vintagen tunnistamisesta ja burleskista), mutta voit toki ehdottaa samoja uudelleenkin jos haluat saada asioihin vauhtia.

It’s a New Year and new tricks. Last year was in many ways quite hard and stressing. It’s not really my habbit to make New Years resolutions because they very rarely hold. But, I am willing to set goals for myself and I hope they will make this coming year better than the last one. For this year I have been planning following:

In the year 2017 I want
– to learn gardening, especially edible plants in mind
– to start horta hunting (word horta, also used in finnish language, comes from latin and means any wild edible plants)
– to develope in ballet and pointe work
– sew more historical garments
– save money
– get new kick and inspiration for my work

I have also thought about giving the blog some sort of facelift, but I haven’t really decided anything yet. It feels that it needs something, to freshen it up. If you want to suggest changes, here’s your chance. If you would like to see something new and refreshing here, leave a comment below. Your suggestion can be about the look of the blog, content of the blog or even usability of it. Anything that comes to your mind. I haven’t forgotten old suggestions for posts either (e.g. burlesque and recognizing vintage), but you can suggest same things again, if you want to speed up things a little.
