I made a pinafore dress. If the Summer dress was the worlds easiest dress<\/a>, this is the second easiest. I love the style so much that now I have two, almost identical ones. Skirt is pretty much straight with walking pleats back and front, to literally help walking. Bodice is fitted with wide v-neckline in front and wrap-style at the back. There’s snap buttons on the side to help putting the dress on, but it’s possible to put it on even if the snap buttons are closed. Patch pockets are styled with decorative flaps and buttons. I had little bit less fabric than for the previous dress, so I could not cut the bodice on bias, but it works this way too. It took about 3-4 hours to make this dress. To speed things up I trimmed the neckline with bias tape, cut from the dress fabric. Hemline and armholes are trimmed by overlock machine\u00a0and then folded one time and top stitched on place.<\/p>\n
