It’s been about four years since I first started talking about hood scarf\/infinity scarf. I gotta have one for Winter. Well, guess what. Not a thing happened. I don’t really want to buy one (principles, you know)<\/strong> <\/span>and I got yarns stashed. Knitting a tube is quite boring, nothing to got your attention there, so I was wondering what if I knit with the knitting machine, which I have. But first the machine needs some maintenance. I have been searching inspiration from Pinterest<\/a>, with very little help.\u00a0They all have a flaw. They are either too simple or too complicated, too colourful or too solid coloured, too boring or too _add the adjective of your liking here_. It is very tricky to be me sometimes.<\/p>\n

Now, however, it looks like there is going to be some sort of progress on this. I decided to do it by hand (because the knit machine maintenance, and it would never fit in our home anyway, so I would have to do it at work place)<\/strong><\/span>. I thought I’d use the locally produced alpaca yarn for this. I have been stashing it couple years. The yarn is a bit oddball-type. Complicated patterns don’t really show properly. I sort of liked minicables, but no point in wasting massive effort and time on something that can’t really be seen at all. I hate the garter stitch from the bottom of my heart and stockinette is just plain boring. I have now made couple samplers and looks like moss stitch (seed stitch in US)<\/strong><\/span> is winning this round. I was also considering 2-by-2 rib for the bottom edge.<\/p>\n
