Let me show you some of my most recent finds. During summer the town of Salo organizes evening market every thrusday. They sell ordinary market place goods, like vegetables and flowers, but you can also go through dozens and dozens of thrift find tables. You can make reasonably priced finds there. We drove there for the evening and didn’t get disappointed this time either. I found couple hats from Salo Theater stall and some fringes from another stall. Surprisingly we also found new tenants to our butterfly wall.<\/p>\n

During the weekend there was held traditional Restaurantap\u00e4iv\u00e4t, swap meet \u00a0organized by local mobilists (those who renovate vintage cars)<\/strong><\/span>. I found leather briefcase I’ve been looking for quite some time, additions to my vintage snap button stash (they are better than new snap buttons)<\/strong><\/span> and yellow 20’s (or early 30’s)<\/strong><\/span> silk crepe summer dress. Dress is very fine fabric and is a bit frayed on couple spots. It requires some mending and reinforcing before I can use it. However it was so cheap and unusual find that I just had to pick it up.<\/p>\n
