Minetti <\/a>on Tampereen J\u00e4\u00e4tel\u00f6liikkeen tuotemerkki jonka historia jatkuu aina 20-luvulle saakka. Italialainen Giuseppe Minetti toi j\u00e4\u00e4tel\u00f6n Tampereelle alettuaan valmistaa sit\u00e4 kotonaan, vaimonsa Tildan kanssa 20-luvulla. Ensimm\u00e4iset Minetin j\u00e4\u00e4tel\u00f6k\u00e4rryt tulivat Tampereen katukuvaan vuonna 1925. Valitettavasti toiminta p\u00e4\u00e4ttyi toiseen maailmansotaan, mutta viime vuonna Minetin perheen perilliset p\u00e4\u00e4ttiv\u00e4t aloittaa toiminnan uudelleen. Ja nyt meill\u00e4 on jo useita Minetti-baareja ja kojuja.<\/p>\n

Kun Hervannan j\u00e4\u00e4tel\u00f6-baari avasi, p\u00e4\u00e4tin ett\u00e4 maistan kaikkia heid\u00e4n j\u00e4\u00e4tel\u00f6makujaan, joita on paljon! Koska en ihan joka p\u00e4iv\u00e4 voi herkutella j\u00e4\u00e4tel\u00f6ll\u00e4, on t\u00e4h\u00e4n menness\u00e4 makutestej\u00e4 kertynyt vasta nelj\u00e4. Huomasin my\u00f6s ilokseni ett\u00e4 Minetin nettisivut on vihdoin p\u00e4ivitetty ja sielt\u00e4 l\u00f6ytyv\u00e4t kaikki baarit ja kojut aukioloaikoineen. Olen nyt jostain syyst\u00e4 tuosta Minetist\u00e4 aivan p\u00e4hkin\u00f6in\u00e4. Ainoa miinuspuoli hommassa on ett\u00e4 vaikka yritys on tamperelainen, j\u00e4\u00e4tel\u00f6it\u00e4 ei valmisteta Suomessa vaan Italiassa.<\/p>\n

First things first: June has been the coldest for who knows how long time, so there won’t be very many lovely summery photos available right now. Even Midsummer Festival we spent inside. However, there is surprisingly lot photos in June Instagram, approximately more than one a day. You can also follow my Instagram by clicking the link on the sidebanner. Even though weather has been very cold, I have treated myself with ice cream, because they just opened a new Minetti ice cream bar in Hervanta.<\/p>\n

Minetti<\/a> is a brand of Tampereen J\u00e4\u00e4tel\u00f6liike (Tampere Ice cream company)<\/strong><\/span> which has a long history, all the way to the 1920’s. Italian Giuseppe Minetti brought ice cream to Tampere when he and his wife Tilda started making it in their home in 20’s. First Minetti ice cream carriages launched in 1925. Unfortunately they were forced to shut down the business during Second World War, but last year some members of the Minetti family decided to start all over. And now we have several Minetti ice cream bars and carriages.<\/p>\n

When Hervanta got their own ice cream bar, I decided that I’m going to try out all of their flavours, which are plentiful! But because I can’t treat myself to ice cream every day, I have tasted so far four. I also noticed that they have finally updated their web page with all their bars locations and opening hours and their carriages too. For some weird reason I’m over the moon about this. Only thing is that even though company is Finnish, ice creams are not made in Finland, but in Italy. It would have been even more awesome if they were made here too.<\/p>\n
