Meikkiasiat ovat usein v\u00e4h\u00e4n hankalia juttuja. Hyvien tuotteiden l\u00f6yt\u00e4minen on vaikeaa, koska tarjontaa on niin paljon. Min\u00e4 olen pitk\u00e4\u00e4n etsinyt t\u00e4ydellist\u00e4 eyelineria ja t\u00e4ydellist\u00e4 ripsiv\u00e4ri\u00e4. Pari vuotta sitten l\u00f6ysinkin kaverin suosituksesta rajausv\u00e4rin<\/a> joka on osoittautunut k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 t\u00e4ydelliseksi, mutta ripsiv\u00e4ri on tuottanut ongelmia. Olen k\u00e4ytt\u00e4nyt pitk\u00e4\u00e4n Kanebon 38-ripsaria, johon olen ollut varsin tyytyv\u00e4inen, mutta sek\u00e4\u00e4n ei ollut ihan t\u00e4ydellinen.<\/p>\n

Oman t\u00e4ydellisen ripsiv\u00e4rini ominaisuuksiin kuuluvat pieni harja, varisemattomuus, k\u00f6k\u00f6tt\u00f6myys, ett\u00e4 se ei levi\u00e4 kyynelten\/ihon rasvan mukana pitkin naamaa ja ett\u00e4 se peseytyy pois ilman vahvoja puhdistusaineita (eik\u00e4 pesun j\u00e4lkeen n\u00e4yt\u00e4 pandasilm\u00e4lt\u00e4)<\/strong><\/span>. Kanebon 38-ripsarin loistava ominaisuus on ollut sen helppo puhdistaminen. Ripsarin koostumus muuttuu 38 asteisessa vedess\u00e4, jolloin se irtoaa ripsist\u00e4 helposti. Se ei varise eik\u00e4 tee k\u00f6kk\u00f6j\u00e4 vaan peitt\u00e4\u00e4 ripset t\u00e4ydellisen sile\u00e4ll\u00e4 kerroksella. Ainoa mihin en ole ollut t\u00e4ysin tyytyv\u00e4inen, on se ett\u00e4 ripsari ei tee juuri lainkaan lis\u00e4\u00e4 volyymi\u00e4 tai pituutta. Henkil\u00f6kohtaisesti en tykk\u00e4\u00e4 yht\u00e4\u00e4n ripsareista joissa on mukana kuituja tai muita sellaisia lis\u00e4h\u00e4rp\u00e4kkeit\u00e4. Ne muuttuvat tosi pian variseviksi k\u00f6kker\u00f6iksi ja saavat ripset n\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n silt\u00e4 kuin h\u00e4m\u00e4h\u00e4kki olisi p\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00e4nyt tehd\u00e4 pes\u00e4n silm\u00e4luomillesi. Ik\u00e4v\u00e4 kyll\u00e4 volyymi\u00e4 ja pituutta ei yleens\u00e4 saa ilman kuituja. Olen my\u00f6s tosi kriittinen siit\u00e4 ett\u00e4 ripset eiv\u00e4t saa j\u00e4\u00e4d\u00e4 klimpeiksi vaan niiden pit\u00e4\u00e4 olla hienosti erotellut.<\/p>\n

Lontoon matkalta ostin matkakaverin suosituksesta Benefitin They’re real-maskaran. Benefiti\u00e4<\/a> ei edelleenk\u00e4\u00e4n taida saada Suomesta mist\u00e4\u00e4n, mutta tuote on kyll\u00e4 ennest\u00e4\u00e4n mulle tuttu. Benefitill\u00e4 on s\u00f6\u00f6tti vintage-henkinen imago ja hupaisat tuotteiden nimet. Monille on varmaan jo tuttuja Dr. Feelgood-huulirasva<\/del>\u00a0(krhm!)<\/strong><\/span> -meikinpohjuste ja Lemon aid-silm\u00e4meikin pohjuste. Itselleni on arjen pient\u00e4 luksusta Bathina-sarjan vartalovoide joka levitet\u00e4\u00e4n samettivipalla (vanha nimi Body-so-fine, uudelta nimelt\u00e4\u00e4n “take a picture…it lasts longer”)<\/strong><\/span>. Ripsari on nyt ollut k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 matkasta asti ja vaikuttaa oikein potentiaaliselta t\u00e4ydelliseksi ripsariksi. Vaikka siin\u00e4 ei olekaan toivomaani pikkuharjaa, se on todella helppo k\u00e4ytt\u00f6inen sill\u00e4 harjan p\u00e4\u00e4ss\u00e4 harjakset ovat hauskan pallomaisena. \u00a0Tuo muotoilu helpottaa maskaran levityst\u00e4 my\u00f6s hyvin lyhyisiin ripsiin. Katsotaan miten se toimii pidempiaikaisessa k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4.<\/p>\n

PS. Olen todellakin koko ajan kuvitellut ett\u00e4 Dr Feelgood on huulirasva, kunnes yst\u00e4v\u00e4llinen lukijani korjasi v\u00e4\u00e4rink\u00e4sitykseni :D En sent\u00e4\u00e4n ole k\u00e4ytt\u00e4nyt sit\u00e4 tuotetta. Jestas ett\u00e4 nyt tunnen itseni tyhm\u00e4ksi!<\/p>\n

Make up stuff are sometimes quite tricky. It can be hard to find good products, because there is so much of them. I have been searching for perfect eye liner and mascara for quite long time. Couple years ago I managed to finally find my perfect eyeliner<\/a>, recommended by my friend, but mascara has been problematic. I have been using quite some time Kanebo 38-mascara. I have been quite happy with it, but it still isn’t perfect.<\/p>\n

My perfect mascara must have small brush, it has to be non-smearing, non-clumpy, non-shedding. It must wash easy without harsh cleansers (without making me have panda eyes)<\/strong><\/span>. Kanebo 38-mascara’s most brilliant feature is that it’s extremely easy to wash. Consistency of the mascara changes in 38 degree temperature water, and it comes off easily. It doesn’t shed nor make clumps, but covers lashes with smooth layer. Only thing I’m not extremely happy about is that it doesn’t really add any volume nor length. Personally I don’t really like mascaras which have fibers or other crap in them. They go very fast clumpy and start shedding crumbs under eyes and make lashes look like a spiders have decided to nest on your eyelids. Unfortunately volume and length usually require those fibers in mascara. I am also super critical about having perfectly separated lashes instead of lash clumps.<\/p>\n

From London I bought Benefit’s They’re real-mascara, recommended by my travel companion. Even though Benefit<\/a> is still not available in Finland, I do have some experience on their products. They got cute vintage styled image and funny product names. Many of you probably already know Dr. Feelgood-lip balm<\/del>\u00a0(krhm!)<\/strong><\/span> complexion balm or Lemon aid-eyelid primer. My little luxury is Bathina body cream, that spreads with velvet puff (old name Body-so-fine, now “take a picture… it lasts longer”)<\/strong><\/span>. I have been using the mascara since the trip and it seems quite potential to be the perfect mascara. Even though it doesn’t have the small brush I hoped for, it is really easy to use. Brush end is like little spiky ball, which makes it easy to apply even for very short and fine lashes. Let’s see how it works on long term use.<\/p>\n

PS. Silly me have honestly thought all this time Dr Feelgood is lip balm, until my kind reader corrected me :D I have never used it though. Damn I feel so silly now!<\/p>\n
