Parveke on Takun lempi paikka ja jos ovi on kiinni niin kissin-itkua v\u00e4\u00e4nnet\u00e4\u00e4n oven takana kunnes joku \u00e4ly\u00e4\u00e4 sen avata.<\/p>\n

Aurinkoinen syksy on jostain syyst\u00e4 inspiroinut belle epoque-ajan pukeutumiseen. Etenkin kun l\u00f6ysin t\u00e4m\u00e4n vedenv\u00e4risen puseron joka sopii tyyliin kuin maajussi pellolle. Kirppikselt\u00e4 l\u00f6ytynyt pusero on t\u00e4ysin moderni House Doctorin jostakin vanhasta mallistosta. Minulle ennest\u00e4\u00e4n aivan outo merkki. Kuviin lainasin is\u00e4nn\u00e4n 20-luvun aurinkolaseja.<\/p>\n

Lopuksi haluan jakaa kanssanne viel\u00e4 t\u00e4m\u00e4n vanhan mutta eritt\u00e4in helpon (mulle kelpaavat vain helpot ruokaohjeet)<\/strong><\/span> ohjeen jonka hyv\u00e4 yst\u00e4v\u00e4ni muistutti mieliini. Mitenk\u00e4h\u00e4n monelle h\u00f6lskytyskurkut ovat tuttua lapsuusajan sy\u00f6mist\u00e4? Kun oikein muistia kaivelee niin luulen ett\u00e4 meill\u00e4kin taidettiin n\u00e4it\u00e4 tehd\u00e4 sadonkorjuuaikaan.<\/p>\n

Kuori kurkut ja viipaloi ne. Laita kurkkuviipaleet ja muut aineet pieneen kulhoon ja peit\u00e4 tiiviisti riitt\u00e4v\u00e4n suurella lautasella tai muulla kannella (kannellinen lasit\u00f6lkki k\u00e4y my\u00f6s)<\/strong><\/span>. H\u00f6lskyttele\/ravistele kurkkuja jonkin aikaa jotta ne maustuvat. Kaada neste pois ja tarjoile pian valmistamisen j\u00e4lkeen. Etikan m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4 s\u00e4\u00e4t\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 saat joko miedompia tai v\u00e4kev\u00e4mpi\u00e4 kurkkuja.<\/p>\n

\nI think we just got Indian Summer for the September. That is very lovely, even though today seems to be a bit too warm for my Autumn skirt. Atleast I got rather flustered on the way to the grocers and back. In the evening it gets a bit more chilly. So chilly we have to close the balcony and that upsets our kitty. Balcony is Taku’s favourite place and if the door is closed she cries next to the door as long as someone bothers to open it.<\/p>\n

Sunny Autumn has, for some reason, inspired me for belle epoque style outfits. Especially when I found this smoky aqua coloured blouse, which fits the style perfectly. It was found from flea market but it’s a modern House Doctor blouse. I wasn’t familiar with that brand before. I borrowed my hubbys 20’s sunglasses for these photos.<\/p>\n

Finally I want to share with you this old but very easy recipe ( I only do easy recipe’s)<\/strong><\/span> of which my good friend reminded me about. Were these part of your childhood meals? Atleast here in Finland they used to be part of the Harvest season meals. I believe they were also served at my home when I was a kid.<\/p>\n

SHAKE CUCUMBERS<\/strong><\/span>
\n3-4 cucumbers (cucumis sativus, if you use the long smooth cucumbers, one is enough)<\/strong><\/span>
\n1-3 table spoons of white vinegar
\nsugar and salt
\nchopped dill<\/p>\n

Peel and slice cucumbers. Put them in small bowl with other ingredients, cover the bowl with a plate or other lid that seals the bowl nicely (you can also use glass jar with lid)<\/strong><\/span>. Shake them a while, until cucumbers are marinaded all over. Poor the liquid off and serve soon after preparing. By adjusting the amount of vinegar you can get milder or stronger cucumbers.<\/p>\n
