T\u00e4ll\u00e4 tekniikalla voi kiinnitt\u00e4\u00e4 mink\u00e4 muotoisia pitsej\u00e4 tahansa (tosin kurvit eiv\u00e4t voi olla kovin jyrkki\u00e4 saumanvarojen vuoksi)<\/strong><\/span> ja tehd\u00e4 my\u00f6s monimutkaisempia p\u00e4\u00e4llekk\u00e4isi\u00e4 pitsiupotuksia. Pitsinauhojen ei siis tarvitse kulkea samansuuntaisia linjoja vaan ne voivat kulkea riste\u00e4v\u00e4sti toistensa yli ja muodostaa ep\u00e4symmetrisi\u00e4 kuvioita, tai kapean pitsin toiseen reunaan voi pujottaa rypytyslangan ja tehd\u00e4 sen avulla py\u00f6reit\u00e4 pitsikuvoita. Mun piti liitt\u00e4\u00e4 t\u00e4h\u00e4n linkki yhteen upeaan pitsiupotus-puseroon, mutta ik\u00e4v\u00e4 kyll\u00e4 olen hukannut sen.<\/p>\n

\nI haven’t had much time to make any tutorials lately. For one resent project I made lace inserts so I was able to create this small tutorial for lace inserts. With this technique you are able to add any shape of lace there is (allthough curves can’t be very sharp because of the seam allowances)<\/strong><\/span> and also create more complicated overlapping inserts. Meaning that lace ribbons don’t have to follow each other but they can run across each other and create asymmetrical patterns. Or you can put gathering thread through the other edge of the lace and create round shapes. I was going to add here a link to this awesome laceinsert-blouse, but unfortunately I’ve lost the link.<\/p>\n

1. Leikkaa kankaasta halutut vaatteen osat, t\u00e4ss\u00e4 aluspaidan etukappale.<\/strong><\/span>
\nSilit\u00e4 pitsit ja asettele pitsit mieleisiin kohtiin, neulaa paikoilleen. \/<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Cut the pieces from fabric, here the front piece of chemise.<\/strong><\/span><\/em>
\nIron laces and arrange them as you wish, pin to places.<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

2. Ompele pitsi kankaalle koneella niin reunasta kuin pystyt, mielell\u00e4\u00e4n<\/strong><\/span>

\nompelemaan aivan reunasta. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Sew by machine lace on the fabric as close to the lace edge as you can,<\/strong><\/span><\/em>
\npreferably only about 1-2 mm away from the edge. You can<\/strong><\/span><\/em>
\nalso sew by hand when you can get the seam to the very edge.<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\npitsin alle. <\/strong><\/span>Varo huolella leikkaamasta pitsi\u00e4! Tee p\u00e4\u00e4tyihin
\nkulmittaiset viillot. Ommeljuovat merkitty katkoviivoin.

3. Turn the piece wrong side up, cut slits to the fabric, under
\nthe lace. <\/strong><\/span><\/em>Be very carefull not to cut the lace! Make sharp slits
\non the corners. Seams marked with pink line.<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

5. Kavenna tarvittaessa saumanvarat. Sopiva saumanvaran leveys <\/strong><\/span>
\non noin 7-10 mm. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

5. Cut down the seam allowances if needed. Suitable width is<\/strong><\/span><\/em>
\nabout 7-10 mm.<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

6. Taita saumanvarat kapeiksi p\u00e4\u00e4rmeiksi. Ompele koneella jos haluat<\/strong><\/span>
\n \u00e4kki\u00e4 valmista tai k\u00e4sin jos haluat koristeellisemman lopputuloksen.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

6. Fold the allowances twice. Sew by machine if you want finished<\/strong><\/span><\/em>
\n product fast, or by hand if you want more decorative result.<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
