Pukuun kuuluvat raitahousut, liivi, silkkinen plastron ja takki. Omasta kaapista l\u00f6ytyiv\u00e4t napitettavat henkselit ja smokkipaita. Allekirjoittanut on luvannut valmistaa asiaankuuluvan paidan jossain vaiheessa, sit\u00e4 ennen menn\u00e4\u00e4n modernin smokkipaidan kanssa.<\/p>\n

Viktoriaanisena aikana saketti oli varakkaampien miesten arkipuku. T\u00e4h\u00e4n pukuun on valittu is\u00e4nn\u00e4n mieltymyksen mukaisia yksityiskohtia viktoriaaniselta ajalta. Puvussa on k\u00e4ytetty perinteisi\u00e4 menetelmi\u00e4 kuten k\u00e4sin p\u00e4\u00e4llystettyj\u00e4 nappeja, k\u00e4sin ommeltuja napinl\u00e4pi\u00e4, ommeltavia tukimateriaaleja jne. \nI promised to show you photos when hubby’s victorian morning suit is finished. Well, now it is and delivered to the customer. We are still looking for proper top hat and fob watch, before we find those we have to settle for bowler hat and modern decoration watch. Suit includes striped pants, waistcoat, silk kravat and coat. We already had button braces and tuxedo shirt. I have promised to make proper shirt for the suit later, but before that this modern tuxedo shirt works ok.<\/p>\n

During Victorian times, morning suit was everyday suit for more well off men. This suit is made with my hubby’s favourite selected details from Victorian era. It is made with traditional techniques like fabric covered buttons made by hand, hand sewn buttonholes, hand sewn interfacings etc. Huge thanks to Laura for her patience and work!<\/p>\n
