Then my enthusiasm for home decoration wakes up again and I want to redecorate the whole home. However from year to year my non-excisting budget prevents me from making my wildest dreams come true. So I have to settle for smaller adjustments.<\/p>\n

Ikea quit selling bargain hat box-sets so I have been searching hat boxes from flea markets. Some time ago I was able to find rather cheap box but it was pretty ugly. Thankfully I have all sorts of material stashed at home, so I was able to perk it up.<\/p>\n

\n pencil, wide brush or sponge<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n (If you use glue, add little bit of water)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Measure the box and cut suitable pieces.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n Spread paste\/glue directly to the box surface and apply paper.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n Allow to dry and make holes for ribbon (this box had them readymade).<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n You can also use contrast colour papers.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

If you use vinyl covered wallpaper it can be wiped clean with damp<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n cloth. My box has ordinary paper on top and striped sides are<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\n vinyl covered wallpaper.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
