This happened through recording out loud the thinking process to the recorder while choosing outfits. It was supposed to be just regular week and regular outfits. So I didn’t have to put any more effort on getting dressed as usual so it would be as realistic as possible.<\/p>\n During the week I noticed that choosing clothes happens most of the time quite effortlessly. Sometimes I may think days ahead what I’m going to wear on which day. Allthough this can also change along the way. I remember my wardrobe pretty well by heart so when I open it in the morning I pretty much know what I want to wear. Sometimes decision is made knowingly, sometimes it is subconscious. In some cases it is difficult to say when the actual decision is made, or why it is made. And because I’m the laziest of the lazy doing the laundry, I quite often notice that the particular piece I want to wear is currently living in wash basket. Then I’m forced to compromise and can be unsatisfied with the result.<\/p>\n Even though the current weather is always behind my wardrobe choises (I check the weather and temperature every morning)<\/strong><\/span>, I quite often limit myself on combinations I have already found out working, and don’t really try much new combinations. I wear certain skirt with certain blouse etc. More and more often I wear my favourite items. Already couple years I have tried to limit my wardrobe to the favourite items, but when I buy new stuff I don’t always know which ones turn out to be favourites. So there are and will be misses aswell.<\/p>\n Recordings also revealed that I rarely change clothes every single day (I already knew that myself, ofcourse)<\/strong><\/span>. I think it’s silly to wash clothes if they are not dirty. That’s why I wear same clothes atleast couple days in a row, sometimes even longer than that if the armpits don’t start stinking and I don’t manage to mess them up with stains. The thing that might not be so clear on the recordings, is that when I feel miserable, tired, upset or am busy etc, I want to wear as comfortable as possible. Comfortable doesn’t mean jersey tunics and leggings to me, but clothes that I feel both relaxed and pretty at the same time. Comfortable clothes can be also fitted, aslong as they are not too tight, they are breathing and easy to maintain. For example fabric that sucks in all the kitty hair is not comfortable. Constantly brushing off kitty hair is the most awkward thing there is.<\/p>\n Afterwards I also recieved some additional questions and when replying to those, I realised that at the same time when I want to wear clothes I feel comfortable in, I also want to give certain image to people about myself. Somehow I feel very uncomfortable if I feel that other people get completely wrong idea off me and what I’m like. That’s why “wrong” clothes make me feel uncomfortable twice as much.
