Viime lauantaina p\u00e4ryyttelimme (kyll\u00e4, automme kuulostaa t\u00e4t\u00e4 nyky\u00e4 ralliautolle ja sis\u00e4tiloissa istuessa lentokoneelle, kiitos Turku joka rikkoi pakoputken)<\/strong><\/span> Helsinkiin katsomaan Suomi Burleski Gaalaa. Burleski-viihteen ilotulitusta varten olin t\u00e4ll\u00e4ytynyt viimosen p\u00e4\u00e4lle Olivia Rougelta ostamaani second hand helmi-ihanuuteen. Puku sai illan aikana varmasti eniten kohteliaisuuksia mit\u00e4 olen koskaan mist\u00e4\u00e4n asusta saanut. Ja pakko todeta ett\u00e4 tunsin kyll\u00e4 itseni varsin glamor\u00f6\u00f6siksi. Hollywood here I come! Ilta oli aivan mahtava vaikka jalat olivatkin aamuy\u00f6st\u00e4 jo varsin muusina tuntien seisomisesta. Monilta esiintyjilt\u00e4 n\u00e4htiin uusia numeroita joten ilta oli todella n\u00e4kemisen arvoinen.<\/p>\n

\nLast Saturday we buzzed to (oh yes, our car sounds nowadays like rally car and when sitting inside, like a plane, thanks to Turku which broke the exhaust)<\/strong><\/span> Helsinki to see Finnish Burlesque Gala. For this fabulous occasion I wore my best, second hand beaded silk extravaganza I just recently bought from Olivia Rouge. It must have had most compliments than any of my dresses ever, and I have to admit I felt quite glamorous. Hollywood here I come! Evening was fantastic even though my feet were quite squashed after hours and hours of standing. Many performers had premiers of new numbers so it definitely was worth attending.<\/p>\n

I also want to remind you friends of burlesque about newish web magazine Burlesque Finland<\/a>, which gathers together all the burlesque related events in Finland. On the event calendar you see all the dates for upcoming events, workshops etc. On articles you have reviews of past events and get to read the interviews of our burlesque stars. From link-page you can go to performers own web pages. As the official assistant to Burlesque Finland I am sort of obliged to go to atleast all the burlesque events in Southern Finland so there will probably be some post about them here in the blog, but mainly my burlesque photos can be seen on Burlesque Finland instead.<\/p>\n
