\nMayday is almost here so today I wanted to do some pretty decorations for Mayday Eve Party. We are going to organize circus themed party so colourful bunting kind of tickled my imagination. I found suitable material from my stash and about 10 meters of bunting was ready in less than an hour. Here’s easy how-to:<\/p>\n

\nTarvitset: askartelupaperia tai tapettin\u00e4ytteit\u00e4, kapeaa
\nvinokanttia (leveys n. 1-1,5 cm), sakset,
\nkolmion kaava & lyijykyn\u00e4, ompelukone
\n1. Piirr\u00e4 kolmion kaava (lev. 12 cm, korkeus 14 cm) ja sit\u00e4
\napuna k\u00e4ytt\u00e4en piirr\u00e4 kolmioita erilaisille askartelupapereille
\n(tai tapetille tai kankaalle), leikkaa kolmioita haluamasi m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You need: craft paper or wallpaper samples,
\nnarrow biastape (width about 1-1,5 cm), scissors,
\npattern for the triangle, pencil, sewing machine
\n1. Draw the pattern of the triangle (hight 14 cm, width 12 cm) and
\nwith the pattern draw triangles on variety of craft paper
\n(or wallpaper or fabric even), cut as many flag triangles as you want<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

2. Arrange colours and prints as you wish. Bunting looks
\nbest if same colours or prints are not side by side.
\nMake a pile keeping the order you wanted, it’s easy to
\nsew them straight from the pile. <\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

3. Fold the bias tape in half lengthwise and sew with machine.
\nAt the same time sew the short side of the flags between
\nthe folded bias tape, about 10 cm apart from each other.
\nYou can also sew them closer or further from each other.
\nThe closer each other they are, the shorter the bunting will be.<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
