Olen tietoisesti pit\u00e4nyt t\u00e4m\u00e4n blogin sis\u00e4ll\u00f6n p\u00e4\u00e4asiassa kevyenlaisena ja osin v\u00e4h\u00e4n huumoripitoisenakin. Joskus kuitenkin helpottaa kun saa purkaa asioita ihan kunnolla. P\u00e4\u00e4si\u00e4inen ja sen j\u00e4lkeinen viikko ovat olleet hirvitt\u00e4v\u00e4n raskaita. Toinen pikkuisista rotistamme on ollut vakavasti sairaana. L\u00e4\u00e4k\u00e4rik\u00e4ynti oli v\u00e4h\u00e4n yht\u00e4 tyhj\u00e4n kanssa. P\u00e4\u00e4timme viel\u00e4 yritt\u00e4\u00e4 saada rotan jotenkin toipumaan kotihoidolla vaikka se ep\u00e4todenn\u00e4k\u00f6ist\u00e4 olikin. Huoli rotan kunnosta on painanut p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4in mielt\u00e4ni. Vala-rotan huonon kunnon lis\u00e4ksi huomasimme perjantaina ett\u00e4 toisella rotallamme on vatsassa patti sek\u00e4 kummallakin on jotakin ulkoloisia. Viikonloppu siis kului varsin hysteerisess\u00e4 mielentilassa. El\u00e4imet ovat ns. heikko kohtani. En pysty katsomaan edes el\u00e4indokumentteja itkem\u00e4tt\u00e4.<\/p>\n

T\u00e4n\u00e4\u00e4n el\u00e4inl\u00e4\u00e4k\u00e4ri vahvisti Taylan maitorauhaskasvaimen ja antoi rottat\u00e4ihin loish\u00e4\u00e4d\u00f6n. Pikku-Valan jouduimme p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n viimeiselle matkalle. Lemmikeist\u00e4 luopuminen on minulle aina hirve\u00e4n tuskallista koska kiinnyn niihin niin kovasti. Ehk\u00e4 saamme pit\u00e4\u00e4 toisen rottaneidin viel\u00e4 hetken luonamme ennenkuin eron aika tulee. Taylan vauhti ei ainakaan ole hidastunut kasvaimen my\u00f6t\u00e4 yht\u00e4\u00e4n vaikka neiti on jo yli kaksivuotias. Lemmikin menetyksest\u00e4 huolimatta haluan antaa ison kiitoksen meit\u00e4 palvelleelle Veterin henkil\u00f6kunnalle joka osoitti todellista v\u00e4litt\u00e4mist\u00e4 el\u00e4imi\u00e4 ja heid\u00e4n omistajiaan kohtaan! \nI have knowingly kept the content of this blog rather light and sometimes even a bit amusing. However sometimes it makes me feel better if I can write about what I really feel. Easter and week after it have been really terribly exhausting for me. Our little Vala rat has been seriously ill. We took her to the vet a week ago and it was next to nothing. We decided to see if we can make her better at home even though it was pretty uncertain. Worry about the well-being of our rat has been heavy on my shoulders every day. In addition to that we also noticed on friday that our other rat has big lump on her belly and both of them have mites. So our weekend was rather hysterical. Animals are my weak spot. I can’t even watch animal documentaries without crying.<\/p>\n

Today the vet confirmed that Tayla has tumor on her belly and gave treatment for rat lice. But our little Vala we had to send on her last journey. Letting pets go is always very painfull to me. I get attached to them so much. Perhaps we get to keep our other rat little while longer before she has to go. Atleast the tumor hasn’t slowed her down at all even though she is already over two years old. Despite of the loss of our beloved Vala I have to say huge thanks to the Veter animal clinic that we took our pets today. Their staff showed true caring about the animals and their owners! Thank you!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
