Viel\u00e4 on v\u00e4h\u00e4n aikaa tehd\u00e4 jouluaskartelua. Vaikka sanoinkin edellisen askartelupostauksen yhteydess\u00e4 ett\u00e4 syd\u00e4n ei ole niit\u00e4 suosikkejani joulukoristeissa niin t\u00e4ll\u00e4 kertaa tein syd\u00e4mi\u00e4. Lapsuudesta muistan n\u00e4m\u00e4 paperiset pienet syd\u00e4nkorit joissa kuuseen saattoi ripustaa pieni\u00e4 herkkuja aattoy\u00f6n n\u00e4lk\u00e4isille. Minua vieh\u00e4tt\u00e4\u00e4 t\u00e4ss\u00e4 tuo mallin n\u00e4enn\u00e4inen yksinkertaisuus (sen pujottelu ei ollutkaan ihan niin yksinkertaista kuin voisi ajatella)<\/strong><\/span> ja oikeilla paperivalinnoilla siit\u00e4 saa helposti varsin vanhanaikaisen, juuri sellaisen mist\u00e4 itse pid\u00e4n eniten. Vinkiksi askartelijoille voin antaa ett\u00e4 ei kannata valita ihan mit\u00e4\u00e4n kovin haurasta paperilaatua. Sile\u00e4pintainen askartelupaperi toimii, tuon hauraan vanhan nuottipaperin kanssa oli v\u00e4h\u00e4n repeilyongelmia. Ohjeen syd\u00e4nkoriin l\u00f6yd\u00e4t t\u00e4\u00e4lt\u00e4<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Olen askarrellut v\u00e4h\u00e4n muutakin. Parisen vuotta sitten n\u00e4in ensimm\u00e4isen kerran n\u00e4it\u00e4 paperista askarreltuja t\u00e4hti\u00e4 ja mietin ett\u00e4 mitenk\u00e4h\u00e4n nuo on tehty. No kaivelin ohjeen netin sy\u00f6vereist\u00e4. N\u00e4m\u00e4 t\u00e4hdet ovat nopeita tehd\u00e4 ihan parissa minuutissa. Tarvitset vain paperia, sakset, viivottimen ja liimaa. T\u00e4h\u00e4nkin voi k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 esim tilda-paperia tai mit\u00e4 hyv\u00e4ns\u00e4 muuta askartelupaperia. Hyvi\u00e4 ohjeita l\u00f6ytyy mm. t\u00e4\u00e4lt\u00e4<\/a>. Isommassa t\u00e4hdess\u00e4 neli\u00f6iden sivut n. 15 cm ja viiltoja 6, pienemm\u00e4ss\u00e4 t\u00e4hdess\u00e4 10 cm ja viiltoja 4.<\/p>\n

Askartelin aiemmin my\u00f6s kaksi joulukorttia koska l\u00f6ysin Sinellist\u00e4 hurmaavia skr\u00e4pp\u00e4ystageja. Skr\u00e4pp\u00e4yst\u00e4 en ole koskaan harrastanut enk\u00e4 oikein p\u00e4\u00e4se siihen sis\u00e4\u00e4n, mutta n\u00e4iden korttien tekemisest\u00e4 nautin kovasti.<\/p>\n

There is still some time for christmas crafts. Even though I said earlier, heart is not my favourite when it comes to christmas decoration, this time I made hearts. I remember these cute paper baskets from my childhood. You could hang little treats on the three in them. I like this simple idea very much (it was a bit trickier to weave though)<\/strong><\/span> and with right kind of paper you can make it very rustic and vintage styled, just the way I like the best. Tip for crafters, don’t use very fragile paper. Scrap book or craft paper should do, but thin old musical note paper was way too fragile even though I managed in the end. I’ve been making other paper crafts aswell. Couple years ago I saw these paper stars first time and wondered how those were made. So I digged out the instructions from the wonderfull world of interweb. These stars are fast to make in couple minutes. You only need paper, scissors, ruler and some glue. You can use tilda paper or any other paper craft paper. You can find good tutorials here<\/a>. Bigger star is made of squares about 15 cm wide with 6 cuts and smaller with 10 cm squares and 4 cuts.<\/p>\n

I also made earlier two christmas cards because I happened to find these charming scrap book tags. I’ve never done scrap book stuff and I can’t really get into it, but I enjoyed making these cards immensely.<\/p>\n
