T\u00e4m\u00e4n postauksen <\/b>(ja parin muunkin) <\/span>oli tarkoitus ilmesty\u00e4 jo pari p\u00e4iv\u00e4\u00e4 sitten mutta kahden p\u00e4iv\u00e4n migreeni esti tehokkaasti istumasta koneen \u00e4\u00e4ress\u00e4. \u00c4lk\u00e4\u00e4mme kuitenkaan h\u00e4iriintyk\u00f6 siit\u00e4 sill\u00e4 t\u00e4ss\u00e4 se tulee.<\/p>\n

Olen jo<\/b> pitk\u00e4\u00e4n haaveillut vierailusta er\u00e4\u00e4seen j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4n paikkaan. T\u00e4ll\u00e4 kertaa en ajanut ohi vaan strutseja katsomaan. Tilalta l\u00f6ytyy muutakin el\u00e4imist\u00f6\u00e4, mm. yst\u00e4v\u00e4ni hurmannutta yl\u00e4maan karjaa, poroja sek\u00e4 suloisia kaneja. Mutta ne strutsit. Tiesin ett\u00e4 ne ovat isoja<\/b> lintuja sanan varsinaisessa merkityksess\u00e4 mutta en siltik\u00e4\u00e4n tajunnut ihan t\u00e4ysin miten isoja. Nyt tajuan. H\u00f6yhenpeite n\u00e4ytti ihanan pehme\u00e4lt\u00e4 ja silm\u00e4ripset h\u00e4kellytt\u00e4v\u00e4n pitkilt\u00e4 ja suloisilta. Strutsitilan j\u00e4lkeen<\/b> teimme pikavisiitin melkein naapurissa sijaitsevaan Keltaiseen taloon<\/a> josta voi ostaa kauniita sisustustavaroita, nauttia virvokkeita tai tarvittaessa my\u00f6s y\u00f6py\u00e4. Pihapiiri on vieh\u00e4tt\u00e4v\u00e4 ja rakennukset muutenkin rustiikkeja. Jos maalaismaisema ja yst\u00e4v\u00e4llinen palvelu on sinun juttusi niin pist\u00e4ydy ihmeess\u00e4. Evil Dressmaker suosittelee. Ohikulkumatkalla kannattaa kurkata my\u00f6s P\u00e4lk\u00e4neen rauniokirkkoon<\/a>. Kirkko oli juuri remontin alla, mutta hein\u00e4kuun alussa sinne p\u00e4\u00e4see kuuntelemaan kes\u00e4y\u00f6n konserttia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Iltap\u00e4iv\u00e4n vietimmekin<\/b> sitten Valkeakoskella ja tarkemmin sanottuna Kirpputori Annulissa<\/a>. Kaikki edell\u00e4 esittelem\u00e4ni l\u00f6yd\u00f6t, silm\u00e4laseista sateenvarjoihin, ovat sielt\u00e4. Annulista l\u00f6ytyy l\u00e4hes kaikkea mahdollista, hinnat ik\u00e4v\u00e4 kyll\u00e4 ovat paikoitellen jo kovin korkeat. Esimerkkin\u00e4 mm. vuosisadan vaihteen valokuva-albumi 150 \u20ac ja vanha vaaka 50 \u20ac. Molemmat j\u00e4iv\u00e4t odottamaan varakkaampia ostajia. <\/div>\n

This post <\/b>(and couple other aswell) <\/span>was supposed to be published couple days ago. However two-day migrain prevented me to sit by the computer pretty effectively. Let’s not be disturbed by that because here it comes. <\/div>\n

For a long<\/b> time I have dreamt about a visit to one exciting place. Atleast it has been exciting to me. And now finally I got to do that. Me and my friend P hopped into my red car and drove towards P\u00e4lk\u00e4ne, a small municipality nearby. Years and years I have been driving past the Ostrich farm Syrjynen<\/a>. This time I didn’t drive past but straight to it to see the ostriches. There are other animals there aswell, like Highlanders, raindeers and rabbits. But the ostriches. I knew they were big<\/b> birds, but I still didn’t quite understand how big. Now I know. Feathers looked so soft and their eyelashes very long and cute. Still the respectable size made us stay far enough from the fence. Ostrich neck reaches pretty far<\/b>. <\/div>\n

After the<\/b> ostrich farm we made quick stop at Yellow house<\/a>, which is almost next door. Yellow house (Keltainen talo in finnish)<\/span> is a shop and boutique where you can make lovely finds for your home, enjoy cup of coffee or even stay the night if needed. Lovely country-style yard lures you to stop by and buildings are all old and original in a rustic way. If you are planning visiting Finland and you like the peacefull countryside, you must come here. Evil Dressmaker recommends. And as you are going past you might want to check out the Old ruin church of P\u00e4lk\u00e4ne<\/a> which is still in use occasionally. At the moment it’s under reconstruction, but in the beginning of july there will be midnight concert. <\/div>\n

Afternoon we<\/b> spent in Valkeakoski<\/a>-town, and more precisely at Fleamarket Annuli<\/a>. All the finds I showed you earlier, from glasses to umbrellas, came from there. From Annuli you can find anything. Allthough some prices are a bit high. For example 100 years old photo album 150 \u20ac and old scale 50 \u20ac. I left both of them to wait for wealthier buyers. <\/div>\n
