Niinkuin tied\u00e4tte, rakkaat lukijat, tykk\u00e4\u00e4n liehustaa burleski-bileiss\u00e4. Yksi suosikeistani on Ship Ahoy! johon p\u00e4\u00e4sin ilokseni t\u00e4ll\u00e4kin kertaa huutamaan ja hurraamaan \u00e4\u00e4neni k\u00e4he\u00e4ksi. Esiintyj\u00e4-kaarti ei pett\u00e4nyt nytk\u00e4\u00e4n. Suomen parhaimmistoa oli t\u00e4ydennetty ulkomaanvahvistuksella Englanninmaalta sek\u00e4 sideshow-voimamiehell\u00e4, jonka esityksen olen halunnut n\u00e4hd\u00e4 jo pidemm\u00e4n aikaa. Show oli h\u00e4mm\u00e4stytt\u00e4v\u00e4 ja jopa hieman puistattava, mutta ihana. Kuriositeettina kerrottakoon ett\u00e4 otin shown aikana noin 530 valokuvaa joista roskakoriin p\u00e4\u00e4tyi suoraan noin satakunta ja julkaistavaksi parhaimmat 1-5\/esitys. Burleski-esityksen valokuvaaminen ei ole ihan helppoa. Ellet p\u00e4\u00e4se eturiviin, kameran edess\u00e4 mesoo innokkaita faneja heiluvine k\u00e4sivarsineen, hattuineen ja hiuslaitteineen. Valaistus on v\u00e4hint\u00e4\u00e4nkin puutteellinen ja tilanteet vaihtuvat kiihtyv\u00e4ll\u00e4 tahdilla. Siit\u00e4 huolimatta kamerasta l\u00f6ytyi muutama kelvollinen otos. Jos j\u00e4it t\u00e4ll\u00e4 kertaa hauskuudesta paitsi, seuraavan kerran Tampereella on mahdollisuus n\u00e4hd\u00e4 burleskia 19.8.11 Burlesque Cocktail vol 4:n<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>merkeiss\u00e4 ja 10.9.11 Circus meets Burlesque<\/a><\/strong><\/span>-tapahtumassa.<\/p>\n

\nAs you know, my darling readers, I love to hang out in burlesque parties. One of my favourites is Ship Ahoy! event in Tampere, which I was gladly able to join in again this year and shout and cheer my voice off. Performer list didn’t disappoint me this time either. Best burlesque performers of Finland were reinforced with luring Luna Rosa from England and sideshow strong man, which I have wanted to see some time now. Show was amazing and even a bit shuddering, but wonderfull. As a curiosity fact, I took about 530 photos during the show and about 100 of them went straight to bin. I selected about 1-5 photos per performance to be published. Photographing burlesque show isn’t very easy. If you don’t get to the first row, there will be excited fans waving infront of the camera with their elaborate hats. Lighting is lacking to say the least and situations change with accelerating speed. Despite of that I found couple nice shots from my camera.
