Ker\u00e4ily tulee ihmisille luonnostaan. Suurin osa ihmisist\u00e4 ker\u00e4ilee tai on ker\u00e4illyt el\u00e4m\u00e4ns\u00e4 aikana jotakin. Elegant Musings-blogin Casey p\u00e4\u00e4tti j\u00e4rjest\u00e4\u00e4 blogi-tapahtuman jossa mukaan ilmoittautuneet bloggaajat kertoisivat omista ker\u00e4ilykohteistaan. Ilmoittauduin mukaan vaikka olenkin usein postannut ker\u00e4ilytavaroistani. Ei kai pieni kertaus ole pahitteeksi. Oli niin vaikea p\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00e4\u00e4 mist\u00e4 kokoelmista kirjoittaisin joten t\u00e4ss\u00e4 nyt sitten useampi kerralla. Caseyn blogista voitte koko t\u00e4m\u00e4n viikon ajan lukea muiden bloggareiden kiinnostavista ker\u00e4ily-kohteista<\/a>.
\nKaikki ker\u00e4ilyni ovat alkaneet v\u00e4h\u00e4n kuin vahingossa. Ensin tulee yksi-kaksi esinett\u00e4 ja sitten yht\u00e4kki\u00e4 sit\u00e4 huomaakin ett\u00e4 niit\u00e4 on nippu. Mutta oikeastaan se on aika hauskaa. T\u00e4rkein mottoni ker\u00e4ilyss\u00e4 on ett\u00e4 en maksa mist\u00e4\u00e4n maltaita vaan kaiken on oltava kohtalaisen edullista niin ett\u00e4 ker\u00e4ilyharrastus ei johda minua konkurssiin.<\/p>\n

\nCollecting things comes natural to humans. Most people collect or have been collecting something during their lives. Casey from Elegant Musings decided to arrange blog tour about cherished collections. I signed in even though I have made several posts about my collections. But one more post doesn’t hurt, does it. It was so difficult to decide so here is couple different collections in one go. You can read about other cherished collections<\/a> from Casey’s blog, whole week.
\nAll of my collections have started by accident. First you get one-two items and then suddenly you notice you got plenty. But it is rather fun. My main motto about collecting these things is that everything has to be reasonably prised. I don’t want to end up bankrupt because of it.<\/em><\/p>\n

T\u00e4llaisten valokuvien l\u00f6yt\u00e4minen on yll\u00e4tt\u00e4v\u00e4n vaikeaa. Olen kuullut ett\u00e4 “muutama” muukin ker\u00e4ilee n\u00e4it\u00e4. Idean sain kun selasin isoisot\u00e4tini vanhoja albumeita joissa oli muutama valokuva henkil\u00f6st\u00e4 py\u00f6r\u00e4n kanssa. Otin kuvat talteen ja kehystin sein\u00e4lle. Sitten aloinkin jo etsi\u00e4 kuvia systemaattisesti, ker\u00e4t\u00e4kseni niist\u00e4 ison sein\u00e4kollaasin. Kuvia on nyt 14, joista kaksi odottaa kehyksi\u00e4. Isoisot\u00e4tikin kuvista l\u00f6ytyy. H\u00e4n seisoo veljiens\u00e4 keskell\u00e4 koivun alla, py\u00f6rien kera.<\/p>\n

Finding these kind of photos is surprisingly tricky. I have heard that “couple” other people also collect these. I got the idea when I was browsing my great great aunts photo albums. There was couple of these photos in there. I took them and framed for the wall. Then I started to systemathicly search more to make a wall collage. Now I have 14, two waiting to be framed. My great great aunt is also in the photos. She stands between her brothers under birch tree, with bikes. <\/em><\/p>\n

Olen ker\u00e4illyt vintage-hattuja (ja v\u00e4h\u00e4n uudempiakin)<\/strong><\/span> jo vuosia. Kokoelma l\u00e4hti siit\u00e4 kun sain mummun perint\u00f6n\u00e4 kasan vanhoja hattuja. Ja sitten niit\u00e4 vaan alkoi ker\u00e4\u00e4nty\u00e4 ja t\u00e4ytyy tunnustaa ett\u00e4 se on ehk\u00e4 riist\u00e4ytynyt v\u00e4h\u00e4n k\u00e4sist\u00e4. J\u00e4nn\u00e4\u00e4 on ett\u00e4 k\u00e4yt\u00e4n hattuja verrattain harvoin. Talvella tietysti kylmimp\u00e4n\u00e4 aikana enemm\u00e4n. Eniten pid\u00e4n vanhoista hatuista, mutta pid\u00e4n my\u00f6s ns. hatukkeista joita voi askarrella itsekin mit\u00e4 mielikuvituksellisimmissa muodoissa. Karvahattuja en jaksanut kaivella kes\u00e4s\u00e4il\u00f6st\u00e4, mutta niit\u00e4 voi k\u00e4yd\u00e4 kurkkimassa t\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4<\/a>. Uusin hattuostokseni, viikko sitten, on t\u00e4m\u00e4<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I have collected vintage hats (and new aswell)<\/strong><\/span> for years. It started when I inherited old hats from my grandmother. And then they started piling up. I have to admit that I think it got a bit out of my hands now. It is funny, because I seldom wear hats, except in winter when it is too cold. I like old hats the most, but I also get excited about little hair fascinators that are easy to make yourself, in any imaginable shape and size. I didn’t bother digging my furhats for this photo session, since they are now stored for the summer, but you can see them in this post<\/a>. My most recent hat purchase, week ago, is this<\/a>.

KANGASK\u00c4SINEET \/ FABRIC GLOVES<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Kangask\u00e4sineiden\u00a0 kanssa on v\u00e4h\u00e4n sama juttu kuin hattujen. Sain mummun perint\u00f6n\u00e4 k\u00e4sineit\u00e4 ja\u00a0 sittemmin niit\u00e4 onkin ker\u00e4\u00e4ntynyt erilaisia. Jostakin omituisesta syyst\u00e4 k\u00e4sineet ovat kaikki vaaleita. Nyt etsinn\u00e4ss\u00e4 onkin v\u00e4rillisi\u00e4 k\u00e4sineit\u00e4, mieluusti pastellins\u00e4vyisi\u00e4, mustia tai kirkkaanpunaisia. Suosikkini ovat nuo mummuni tekonahkakoristeiset “ajohanskat” sek\u00e4 virkatut k\u00e4sineet.<\/p>\n

It’s the same thing with fabric gloves than with hats. I inherited some from my grandmother and after that they started gathering.\u00a0 For some reason all of them seem to be white or cream or something like that. So now I’m looking for coloured gloves. Preferably pastell shades or black or bright red. My favourite gloves are faux leather decorated “driving gloves” I got from granny and crochet gloves. <\/em><\/p>\n

PUUTERIRASIAT \/ POWDER CASES<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Puuterirasioita olen my\u00f6s ker\u00e4nnyt pidemp\u00e4\u00e4n, mutta niiden m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 kasvaa hitaasti (onneksi)<\/strong><\/span>. Ensimm\u00e4inen hankkimani oli suuri ja kaunis helmi\u00e4iskoristeinen rasia. Viimeisin hankinta on kulmikas rasia joka on minulla k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4. Suurinta osaa rasioista en raaski k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 koska niiden lukitusmekanismi on saattanut hieman vaurioitua vuosien saatossa. Osassa on viel\u00e4 jopa vanhaa puuteria j\u00e4ljell\u00e4. Jos joku nyt innostuu ker\u00e4ilem\u00e4\u00e4n rasioita ja haluaa ottaa rasian k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n niin en suosittele kokeilemaan sit\u00e4 vanhaa puuteria vaan vaihtamaan sen uuteen.<\/p>\n

I have collected powder cases rather long time now, but the amount is growing pretty slow (thankfully)<\/strong><\/span>. First one I got was large and beautiful case with mother-of-pearl cover. Latest purchase is square case that I’m actually using. Most of the cases can’t be used because the lock mechanism has gone broken or unreliable. Some cases still have some old powder left. If someone got inpsired and wants to put old powder cases in use, I don’t recommend using the old powder but to replace it with new. <\/em><\/p>\n

Irtokaulukset ovat siit\u00e4 k\u00e4tevi\u00e4 ett\u00e4 niill\u00e4 saa puvun nopeasti asustettua erin\u00e4k\u00f6iseksi. Nyt haaveilen helmikirjaillusta kauluksesta, sek\u00e4 v-p\u00e4\u00e4ntielle sopivasta kauluksesta. En en\u00e4\u00e4 muista mik\u00e4 kauluksista oli ensimm\u00e4inen, mahdollisesti kapea napein koristeltu. N\u00e4it\u00e4 l\u00f6ytyy niin harvakseltaan ett\u00e4 kokoelma on vuosien ker\u00e4ilyst\u00e4 huolimatta varsin pieni.<\/p>\n

Separate collars are handy for accessorising. You can change the look of the dress by just adding separate collar or changing it to another one. Currently I am dreaming of beaded collar and one suitable for V neckline. I don’t remember which was my first, possibley the narrow one with a row of buttons. These are so rare to find, atleast here in Finland, that despite of years of collecting, I only have couple. <\/em><\/p>\n
