Ehk\u00e4 voimme vertailla l\u00f6ytyyk\u00f6 muilta samanlaisia.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(102, 51, 0); font-weight: bold;\">Talkkuna<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"><br \/>T\u00e4m\u00e4 oli se lapsuuden herkku joka her\u00e4tti muistot. Piim\u00e4\u00e4n, viiliin tai maustamattomaan jugurttiin sekoitettu talkkunajauho, sokeri ja marjat olivat parhaimpia lapsuuden herkkuja joka tyydytti makeann\u00e4l\u00e4n mutta oli my\u00f6s t\u00e4ytt\u00e4v\u00e4 v\u00e4lipala koulusta tullessa. Kaikessa yksinkertaisuudessaan se on maidossa keitettyj\u00e4 makarooneja johon on lis\u00e4tty hieman voita ja suolaa. En ole t\u00e4t\u00e4 sy\u00f6nyt koskaan aikuisena vaikka makarooniruuista pid\u00e4nkin. Lapsena se maistui hyv\u00e4lle, mutta en ole varma pit\u00e4isink\u00f6 siit\u00e4 en\u00e4\u00e4.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 51, 0);\">K\u00e4ristys<\/span><br \/>K\u00e4ristykseksi kutsuimme ruokaa joka oli kuin poronk\u00e4ristyst\u00e4 mutta sianlihasta tehty\u00e4. Reilusti rasvaa sis\u00e4lt\u00e4v\u00e4t sian kylkisiivut paloitellaan ja paistetaan pannulla niist\u00e4 valuvassa rasvassa. K\u00e4ristys nautitaan kuumana suoraan pannusta joka asetetaan p\u00f6yd\u00e4n keskelle. Koko perheen herkkua ja huvia oli t\u00e4m\u00e4 ruoka, jonka sy\u00f6minen oli hieman sottaista. Kuumassa k\u00e4ristysrasvassa nimitt\u00e4in dipattiin ruisleiv\u00e4npaloja ja rasvaa oli tietysti jokapuolella niin p\u00f6yd\u00e4ll\u00e4 kuin k\u00e4siss\u00e4 ja kasvoissakin. Is\u00e4 tapasikin sanoa ett\u00e4 suupielet ovat rasvassa korviin asti. T\u00e4t\u00e4 herkkua en ole saanut lapsuuden j\u00e4lkeen.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 51, 0);\">Pullam\u00f6ss\u00f6<\/span><br \/>Lapsena se paras juoma oli tietysti kaakao, sek\u00e4 kylm\u00e4n\u00e4 ett\u00e4 kuumana. Ja parasta kaakaon kanssa olivat \u00e4idin leipomat pullat. En tied\u00e4 mist\u00e4 alunperin saimme idean mutta pulla piti aina sy\u00f6d\u00e4 niin ett\u00e4 se murennettiin pieniksi paloiksi ja sotkettiin kuuman kaakaon sekaan. Sitten kun palat olivat oikein hyvin imeneet kaakaota ja menneet pehme\u00e4ksi sutuksi ne noukittiin lusikalla suuhun. Olen tehnyt t\u00e4t\u00e4 joskus aikuisenakin mutta jostain syyst\u00e4 se ei maistu en\u00e4\u00e4 yht\u00e4 hyv\u00e4lle.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 51, 0);\">Tuuvinki<\/span><br \/>Tuuvinki on er\u00e4\u00e4nlaista perunavelli\u00e4, eli todella l\u00f6ys\u00e4\u00e4 perunamuusia. Tuuvinki sy\u00f6tiin ruisleip\u00e4palojen kanssa jotka upotettiin tuuvinkiin lillumaan. Kun leip\u00e4palassa oli reilusti voita p\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 se suli ihanaksi rasvaiseksi m\u00f6tiksi tuuvingissa. T\u00e4t\u00e4 voisin sy\u00f6d\u00e4 viel\u00e4kin sill\u00e4 rakastan perunamuusia ja rakastan ruisleip\u00e4\u00e4.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 51, 0);\">Uunijuusto<\/span><br \/>Maatilalla oli tapana tarjota aina kauden herkkuja. Syksyll\u00e4 uusia perunoita ja silli\u00e4, loppukes\u00e4st\u00e4 marjapiirakkaa jne. Aina lehm\u00e4n poikiessa oli tiedossa herkkuhetki uunijuuston muodossa. Ternimaidosta \u00e4iti valmisti j\u00e4lkiruuaksi uunijuuston joka nautittiin yleens\u00e4 reilun sokerin kanssa. Sen valmistaminen on idioottihelppoa: 1 litra ternimaitoa, 1 tl suolaa. Kippaa voideltuun uunivuokaan ja paista 150 asteessa noin tunti <span style=\"font-size:85%;\">(kunnes maito on hyytynyt)<\/span>. T\u00e4m\u00e4 taitaa olla n\u00e4ist\u00e4 lapsuuden herkuista ainoa jota sy\u00f6n edelleen s\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6llisesti.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 51, 0);\">Millaisia makumuistoja sinulla on lapsuudesta?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 51, 0);\">IN ENGLISH<\/span><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">In this<\/span> blog I rarely talk about food. I don&#8217;t concider myself very good cook, even though I&#8217;m not the worst either. There are hundreds and hundreds of good food blogs so I let them post about good recipes. No I found one of my childhood treats and started to think how childhood foods change into adulthood foods. I thought I&#8217;d share them with you. Maybe we can compare if you guys have similar.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(102, 51, 0); font-weight: bold;\">Talkkuna<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"><br \/>This is my childhood treat that brought up some memories. Talkkuna-flour is made of roasted oat and peas. You mix it with buttermilk, yoghurt or viili (viili is sort of sour yoghurt), sugar and berries. It was my childhood delicasy that used to replace sweeties. Flour itself doesn&#8217;t taste very good, but when you mix it with milk products, sugar and berries it was like food from heaven.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 51, 0);\">Macarony soup<\/span><br \/>One of my favourite foods as a kid was macarony soup. Basically it is macaronies boild in milk, added little bit butter and salt. I haven&#8217;t eaten this since my childhood and I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;d like it anymore.<br \/><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><br \/><span style=\"color: rgb(102, 51, 0);\">Pork saut\u00e9<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 51, 0);\"><\/span><br \/>You might be more familiar with saut\u00e9ed raindeer which is very traditional food from finnish Lapland. We used to make saut\u00e9 of pork. You chop porkmeat that has lots of fat on it. Then you fry them up on a pan until most of the fat is melted. Then you lift the pan on the table and eat it directly from the pan =)<br \/>It was the favourite of our whole family and very messy. We also dipped ryebread on the hot fat so fat usually ended up everywhere, on the table and on your face and hands. I haven&#8217;t eaten this since childhood. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: arial; font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 51, 0);\"><br \/>Mushy buns<\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(102, 51, 0); font-family: arial; font-weight: bold;\"><\/span><br \/>Best drink as a kid was cocoa, of course. We had it both, cold and hot. Best thing with cocoa was homemade buns. I don&#8217;t know how it started, but me and my brother used to crumble our buns and put the pieces into the hot cocoa. Then we allowed buns to soak and suck the cocoa in. And then you just eat them with a spoon. I have done this couple times as an adult, but for some reason it doesn&#8217;t quite taste the same.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 51, 0);\">Tuuvinki<\/span><br \/>Tuuvinki is sort of very thin potatomash. We used to eat it with ryebread. You butter the ruybread and then cut it into small bits. Then you put those bread pieces into the tuuvinki for a while. It is lovely when butter melts in hot tuuvinki. I could still eat this because I love potatomash and I love ryebread.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 51, 0);\">Oven cheese<\/span><br \/>When living in farm you used to always get the foods of the season. Late summer you had berry pies, in the autumn you have new potatoes with salted herring and so on. Every time our cows had baby cows we were expecting delicasies. Mum used to make delicious oven cheese from cow&#8217;s first milk. It is really easy to make. You only need 1 liter of first milk, 1 teaspoon of salt. Pour them into a buttered pan and bake in the oven about an hour (until milk has gone solid) in 150 degrees of Celcius.
