June went completely down the drain right from the start, as I was exhausted the whole month. So I didn’t repair a single piece of clothing in June, although I did manage to get a lot of other things done. July went just as badly. In August, I didn’t bother counting anymore, and neither in September, but maybe I should have, because I repaired two skirts. I think, not sure anymore. In October, I fixed a pair of pants. Well, I unpicked the stitched-on fabric belt and voil\u00e0, they were ready to wear. It took me about fivew minutes. In November, I repaired nothing. So how did it go? I had hoped to be a little more active, but there’s nothing I can do about it. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to do something more productive during the Christmas holidays. But hey, let’s look on the bright side, I’ve repaired six items of clothing in six months! Kes\u00e4kuussa en siis korjannut yhden yht\u00e4 vaatetta, tosin sain kyll\u00e4 aikaan monta muuta asiaa. Hein\u00e4kuu meni ihan siihen samaan konkurssiin. Elokuussa en en\u00e4\u00e4 vaivautunut edes laskemaan, enk\u00e4 syyskuussakaan, mutta korjasin silti kaksi hametta. Kai…. <\/p>\n

Believe it or not, this photo is almost 10 years old. I haven’t been wearing these jersey trousers because that sewn-in belt-bow-thingy started to annoy me. Well, five minute job and it was gone. Now I can use them again. Photographying black clothes in mid-winter is quite difficult so you have to settle for this old photo and imagine what these trousers look like without the bow. <\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.evildressmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/kekrinoita1.jpg?resize=759%2C1024\")
I repaired this skirt by lengthening the waistband and making one pleat on the hem, so that it would be more practical in everyday use. Stepping ontop of the hem is then less likely. <\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.evildressmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/elokuunkorjaus.jpg?resize=741%2C1024\")
I’m not extremely proud of this fix, but atleast the skirt is wearable. I bought this cotton skirt long time ago from theater’s flea market, but I have never used it before. In August I needed quickly something to wear, so I made adjustments to the waistband with the what ever cotton fabric I had at hand.
