Worlds largest herbarium, located in Kew Garden, London, stores dried plant samples from about 170 years. New samples arrive to the museum about 25000-30000 each year. First colour photography technique autochrome was launched in 1907. It was developed by brothers Lumi\u00e9re. The dreamlike colourshades of these photos are created by potato starch, which is coloured in three different colours, then mixed and spread over glass plate in layers with varnish, charcoal dust and panchromatic emulsion.
