Ihan pian on taas vuotuisen blogin joulukalenterin aika. Vaikka en ole uskonnollinen, nautin paljon joulun tunnelmasta. Nostalgikkona tavoittelen sit\u00e4 samaa tunnelmaa lapsuuden joulunajasta. Herkullinen ruoka, kukkien, mausteiden ja palavien kynttil\u00f6iden tuoksu, k\u00e4sity\u00f6t ja koristeet. Joulukalenteri on minulle yksi tapa p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4 siihen tunnelmaan. Jos siis haluat lukea tai n\u00e4hd\u00e4 joulukalenterissa jostain tietyist\u00e4 aiheista, nyt on parahultainen hetki j\u00e4tt\u00e4\u00e4 toiveita. Aiheiden ei tarvitse liitty\u00e4 mill\u00e4\u00e4n tapaa jouluun. Pyrin toteuttamaan niit\u00e4 aina kun voin. Joskus ehk\u00e4 vuoden-parin viiveell\u00e4, mutta kuitenkin. Blogistani luetaan paljon joulukoristeiden ohjeita, joten ajattelin koota ne t\u00e4h\u00e4n yhteen listaan josta niit\u00e4 on helppo selata. Oma suosikkini on ehdottomasti viime vuonna tekem\u00e4ni perunahimmeli. Se on roikkunut salin katossa koko vuoden. Peruna ei ole alkanut haista tai homehtua vaan se on kuivunut ja kutistunut kokoon. Aion pit\u00e4\u00e4 sen katossa roikkumassa niin kauan kuin se s\u00e4ilyy ehj\u00e4n\u00e4. Aion varmasti tehd\u00e4 niit\u00e4 joskus my\u00f6s lis\u00e4\u00e4, jos saan ker\u00e4tty\u00e4 riitt\u00e4v\u00e4n m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4n rukiint\u00e4hki\u00e4 tai talvent\u00f6rr\u00f6tt\u00e4ji\u00e4. Soon it is again the time for the annual Holiday\/Christmas\/Advent calendar. I am not religious person, but I still very much enjoy the holiday atmosphere. I want to achieve it the way it felt in my childhood with good food, smells of flowers, spices and candles, handcrafting gifts and decorations, spending time with loved ones. Creating the blog calendar gives me the mood for the season and for whole winter. So if you want to see and read specific themes or issues in the blog during this month, leave a request on the comments. Posts are not necessary Christmas-related, so basically anything which goes along the themes of my blog will do. I try to make these request posts happen when ever I can. Sometimes it may take year or two. So if you have a question you want answered, in mind or issue that I haven’t posted about, leave a comment here or any other posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christmas decoration posts are popular in my blog, so here is a list of all Christmas decor DIY-posts I have done. My favourite is definitely the potato himmeli, which I made last year. It has been hanging on the ceiling of our living room whole year. Potato hasn’t gone moldy or started to smell. It’s just dried and shrunk. I am going to keep it up as long as it doesn’t break. I’m planning on making more of them if and when I manage to get enough rye spikes or other dry flowers. There probably will be more Christmas decoration ideas or tutorials in the blog this year too. What they are, will be revealed when the calendar doors are opened, one by one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
