Olen tuntenut itseni viimeaikoina jokseenkin tyhm\u00e4ksi. Min\u00e4p\u00e4 kerron teille. Satuin k\u00e4ym\u00e4\u00e4n Jyskiss\u00e4 ja huomasin ett\u00e4 ompas halpoja sein\u00e4kelloja, ostanpa t\u00f6ihin semmosen. Vitosella l\u00e4hti. K\u00e4velin kassalle eik\u00e4 mik\u00e4\u00e4n maksukorttini suostunut ottamaan maksua tililt\u00e4. Kokeiltiin useita kertoja mutta ei. Ehdin jo ep\u00e4ill\u00e4 tilin saldoa. No ei kun nostamaan rahaa (saldoa siis l\u00f6ytyi)<\/strong><\/span> ja takaisin lunastamaan se halpiskello. T\u00f6iss\u00e4 yritin asentaa kelloon paristoa mutta se ei vaan mill\u00e4\u00e4n mennyt koloseensa. Paristo oli ihan normaali sormiparisto joita sein\u00e4kelloihin yleens\u00e4 menee. Yritin ja tuhrasin ja lopulta soitin Jyskiin ett\u00e4 kuulkaa kun t\u00e4h\u00e4n teid\u00e4n halpiskelloonne ei k\u00e4y tavalliset paristot. Seuraavana p\u00e4iv\u00e4n\u00e4 k\u00e4vin Jyskiss\u00e4 kellon kanssa. K\u00e4velin kassalle, selitin asiani. Myyj\u00e4 ottaa laatikosta pariston ja sujauttaa se koneistoon sulavan sujuvasti. Siis mitvit???<\/strong><\/span> En voi k\u00e4sitt\u00e4\u00e4 miksi oma paristoni ei kelloon mennyt vaikka se oli t\u00e4sm\u00e4lleen samanlainen. Mik\u00e4s siin\u00e4 sitten, sain pariston kaupanp\u00e4\u00e4lle ja matka jatkuu. Ty\u00f6huoneella ajattelin taas ett\u00e4 ripustanpa nyt sen kellon sein\u00e4lle. Mutta mit\u00e4 ihmett\u00e4. Kellon aikaan asettaminen ei onnistu koska isoviisari heiluu ymp\u00e4riins\u00e4, se on irronnut paikaltaan. Jipii. Ja halpiskello kun on niin takalevyh\u00e4n on tietenkin liimattu kiinni niin ett\u00e4 sit\u00e4 ei voi irrottaa jotta viisarin voisi kiinnitt\u00e4\u00e4 paikalleen. Emm\u00e4\u00e4jaksaen\u00e4\u00e4!<\/p>\n

Toinen tapaus sattui t\u00e4n\u00e4\u00e4n. Olin l\u00e4hd\u00f6ss\u00e4 t\u00f6ist\u00e4 ja h\u00e4mm\u00e4styksekseni huomasin ett\u00e4 ulko-oven lukko on otettu pois k\u00e4yt\u00f6st\u00e4 ja kieli painettu sis\u00e4\u00e4n. Renkkasin lukkoa erin\u00e4isill\u00e4 tavoilla mutta en saanut lukon kielt\u00e4 ponnahtamaan ulos. Kokeilin avaimella, vapautusnappia painamalla, salvasta k\u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 (joka ei muuten k\u00e4\u00e4ntynyt yht\u00e4\u00e4n)<\/strong><\/span>. V\u00e4\u00e4ntelin lukkoa noin vartin. Soitin jopa kollegalle kysy\u00e4kseni neuvoja. H\u00e4nen ohjeensa oli: “renkkaa avainta eestaas, paina yht\u00e4 aikaa napista ja samalla k\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00e4 salpaa”. Kahdella k\u00e4dell\u00e4 kolmen k\u00e4den toimitus? No yritin neuvottua. Lukko ei vaan alkanut toimia. R\u00e4pelsin ja kokeilin erilaisia yhdistelmi\u00e4 avaimella ja ilman avainta, painelin lukonkielt\u00e4 ja py\u00f6ritin salpaa (joka ei py\u00f6ri)<\/span><\/strong> ja painoin vapautusnappia. Soitin huoltomiehelle joka sanoi tulevansa aikaisintaan tunnin p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4. Jei! En voinut l\u00e4hte\u00e4 t\u00f6ist\u00e4 koska en voinut j\u00e4tt\u00e4\u00e4 ulko-ovea auki. Kun huoltomies viimein 1,5 tunnin odottelun j\u00e4lkeen saapui paikalle h\u00e4n suoritti nopean ranneliikkeen ja sai lukon toimimaan. Siis mitvit??? <\/strong><\/span>H\u00e4n n\u00e4ytti miten lukon saa toimintaan ja voisin vaikka vannoa ett\u00e4 kokeilin my\u00f6s sit\u00e4 mutta lukko ei vaan toiminut. Emm\u00e4\u00e4jaksaen\u00e4\u00e4!<\/p>\n

Ihan n\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 sille, ett\u00e4 olen tyhmistym\u00e4ss\u00e4. Vai onko t\u00e4\u00e4 vaan keski-i\u00e4nkriisi? No aina voin lohduttautua sill\u00e4 ett\u00e4 eiv\u00e4t ne osaa ihan kaikki muutkaan vai mit\u00e4 sanotte t\u00e4st\u00e4 mikrouunin k\u00e4ytt\u00f6ohjeesta jonka bongasin marketissa joku aika sitten. Vaikka olen puhunut suomen kielt\u00e4 koko ik\u00e4ni niin en kyll\u00e4 yht\u00e4\u00e4n k\u00e4sit\u00e4 ett\u00e4 mit\u00e4 tuossa kannessa sanotaan. Tiet\u00e4\u00e4k\u00f6 joku muu?<\/p>\n

\nI have felt myself a bit dumb lately. Let me tell you. I happened to visit local cheap interior decoration shop and noticed some really cheap clocks there. I thought, ok, I’m going to get one for my workroom wall. I got one and went to the till but none of my paycards worked on the machine. We tried several times. I already started to doubt my account balance. I went to get money from cash dispenser (so balance was ok)<\/strong><\/span> and returned to pay. At work I tried to install battery to the clock but it didn’t go in to the slot. I checked and battery was correct size but it just didn’t go in no matter what I did. I called to the shop and they said I could go and change the clock. Next day I went in and explained my business. Lady at the till took a spare battery from the drawer and put it in the battery slot. *WTF?<\/strong><\/span> I can’t understand why my battery didn’t go in, it was exactly the same than what she put in. Well, off I go and back to work room. I was going to put the clock in time and hang it on the wall. But I couldn’t because long arm was loose and was just hanging on the bottom. Jay! And because it was cheap clock the back board is glued and doesn’t come off so that I could fix the arm. Ican’ttakethisanymore!<\/p>\n

Another case happened today. I was about to leave from work and to my huge surprise I noticed someone had unlocked the door. I fiddled with the lock in different ways, but was not able to get it lock again. I tried with the key, by pressing the release button and turning the lock handle (which wasn’t turning at all)<\/strong><\/span>. I tried different variations about quarter of an hour with no luck. I even called to my collegue for help. Her instructions were: “turn the key back and forth, at the same time press the release button and simultaneously turn the handle”. Three hand’s job with only two hands? I managed to do that somehow but the lock didn’t start working. I tried again all sorts of things to get lock working but no. I called the maintenance man. He said he’d be there in an hour or so. Yay! I can’t leave work because I can’t leave the door unlocked. When maintenance guy finally arrived after 1,5 hours waiting, he only did little gesture with his wrist and lock was working again. *WTF?<\/strong><\/span> He showed me how to get the lock working and I could swore I tried that aswell but the lock just didn’t work. Icant’takethisanymore!<\/p>\n

It looks like I’m getting dumber. Or is this just a midlife crisis? Well atleast I can console myself with the fact that there are others who don’t seem to know what they are doing. I saw this microwave oven manual in local supermarket. Finnish translation on the cover doesn’t make sense. I am native finnish speaker and I have absolutely no idea what the finnish part is supposed to say. It just doesn’t make any sense at all. Does it mean something?
