T\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 blogissa yrit\u00e4n pysy\u00e4 yleens\u00e4 positiivisen puolella, mutta pakko todeta ett\u00e4 t\u00e4m\u00e4 vuosi ei ole ollut sielt\u00e4 helpoimmasta p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4. \u00c4idin hautajaisten ja perint\u00f6-asioiden hoito on ottanut veronsa, sek\u00e4 henkisesti ett\u00e4 fyysisesti. Lis\u00e4ksi on tietysti ollut monta muuta asiaa joiden j\u00e4rjestely j\u00e4i \u00e4idilt\u00e4 meille perinn\u00f6ksi. N\u00e4m\u00e4 kaikki ovat olleet omien t\u00f6iden, oman kodin ja remontin p\u00e4\u00e4lle melko uuvuttavia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kev\u00e4t ja kes\u00e4 meniv\u00e4t v\u00e4h\u00e4n kuin sumussa ja syksy saapui ennen kuin kes\u00e4 ehti edes kunnolla alkaa. Puutarhahommat j\u00e4iv\u00e4t v\u00e4h\u00e4n puolitiehen, osittain my\u00f6s pihassa pesineiden lintujen takia. Syksyn tullenkaan en saanut kaikkea tehty\u00e4 ja syyskylv\u00f6t j\u00e4iv\u00e4t t\u00e4ysin tekem\u00e4tt\u00e4. Remontitkaan eiv\u00e4t edistyneet kovin paljoa eiv\u00e4tk\u00e4 haaveet opiskelusta toteutuneet. Etenkin j\u00e4lkimm\u00e4inen v\u00e4h\u00e4n harmittaa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talvi on onneksi tuonut kaivatun rauhoittumisen ja pys\u00e4htymisen ajan. Olen nauttinut t\u00e4st\u00e4 talvesta. Lunta ja pakkasta on ollut maltillisesti. Lumit\u00f6it\u00e4 ei ole joutunut tekem\u00e4\u00e4n jatkuvalla sy\u00f6t\u00f6ll\u00e4, kun p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4in on vain hiljakseen leijaillut enint\u00e4\u00e4n sentti kevytt\u00e4 pakkaslunta. Uusi saunamme on my\u00f6s auttanut rentoutumaan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En tied\u00e4 johtuiko se saunasta vai mist\u00e4, mutta pitk\u00e4st\u00e4 aikaa onnistuin tekem\u00e4\u00e4n jouluvalmistelut ilman stressi\u00e4 ja ajallaan. Ja se mik\u00e4 j\u00e4i tekem\u00e4tt\u00e4, ei lopulta ollut kovin t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4. Ehdin askarrella lis\u00e4\u00e4 joulukoristeita ja tehd\u00e4 muutaman pienen tutoriaalin blogiin. Ja kaiken lis\u00e4ksi minulla oli pitk\u00e4st\u00e4 aikaa ty\u00f6n alla yksi mittatilausjakkukin, jonka toimitin asiakkaalle parisen viikkoa ennen joulua. Juuri nyt tuntuu ett\u00e4 el\u00e4m\u00e4 voittaa sittenkin. Toivon ett\u00e4 ensi vuosi on kevyempi, energisempi ja tuotteliaampi. Toivon ett\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4sen vihdoin rakentamaan Kuistiputiikin tuotevalikoimaa ja suunnittelemaan uusia tuulia. Kaikesta huolimatta el\u00e4m\u00e4 n\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 juuri nyt melko valoisalta ja toiveikkaalta. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blogin lukijoille toivotan onnea ja iloa vuodelle 2024. Toivottavasti tapaamme j\u00e4lleen t\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 blogissa. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

I try to keep the blog positive, but I have to say, this year has not been the easiest. Taking care of mums funeral and inheritance papers has taken it’s toll, both physically and mentally. There has also been lot of other things to organise, things which were left us to handle after she passed away. All of these things have been extra, in addition to my own work, house chores and renovation, so things have been quite exhausting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring and Summer went by in a bit of a mental fog and Autumn arrived before Summer even properly started. I didn’t manage to finish all the gardenwork I wanted to. Partially because little birdies were nesting on our yard. I didn’t get everything done in the garden in the Autumn either and I missed all Autumn seedings too. Also the renovation hasn’t been advancing as we planned. And my plans of studying weren’t successful. That especially makes me a bit upset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thankfully Winter has brought the long awaited peace and calmness into our lives. I have enjoyed the winter. There’s been moderate amounts of snow and cold weather. We haven’t had to do lot of snow plowing this year. Mostly it’s been daily small amounts of light snow, so there hasn’t really been need for plowing. Our new sauna has also been very helpful with relaxation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t know if it is the sauna or what, but after a long time I finally managed to make all Christmas preparations without stress and on time. And what ever I didn’t have time to do, wasn’t really that important after all. I had time to make some decorations and even couple tutorials to the blog. And I even had one customer for made-to-measure jacket, which I delivered couple weeks before Christmas. Right now it feels like life will conquer after all. I hope that next year will be lighter, more energetic and more productive. I hope that finally I can expand the new selection for my little boutique and plan new ideas. What ever may it be, at the moment it looks like life is pretty nice and full of hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
