En muista nyt yht\u00e4kki\u00e4 olenko tullut maininneeksi ett\u00e4 kotimme alkuper\u00e4inen perhe oli melko taiteellinen. Rouva joka t\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 asui l\u00e4hes koko el\u00e4m\u00e4ns\u00e4 oli kuulemma melko omintakeinen taiteilijaluonne. H\u00e4n oli valinnut talon v\u00e4rimaailman persoonalliseen tyyliins\u00e4, siksi talo on mintunvihre\u00e4, kuisti kelta-vihre\u00e4 jne. En tied\u00e4 maalasiko rouva itse kovin paljoa, mutta erityisesti perheen poika maalasi ja talossa onkin edelleen nelj\u00e4 h\u00e4nen maalaustaan. Valitettavasti Raimo kuoli melko nuorena, mutta taide j\u00e4\u00e4 el\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n. Tauluista kuvastuu kukaties rakkautta ja jonkinlaista seesteisyytt\u00e4 kaivannut mutta ahdistuksensa ja yksin\u00e4isyytens\u00e4 vangiksi j\u00e4\u00e4nyt persoona. Talon meille myynyt henkil\u00f6 (joka ei siis ollut talossa asunutta perhett\u00e4) kertoi ettei pid\u00e4 tuosta vankilassa itkev\u00e4st\u00e4 miehest\u00e4 ja olikin peitt\u00e4nyt sen sermill\u00e4 koska teos on ruuvattu kiinni sein\u00e4\u00e4n. Ep\u00e4ilen vahvasti ett\u00e4 n\u00e4m\u00e4 taulut j\u00e4iv\u00e4t taloon koska omistaja ei pit\u00e4nyt niist\u00e4, sill\u00e4 muut taulut h\u00e4n vei menness\u00e4\u00e4n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olemme miettineet Raimon taulujen mahdollista lahjoitusta johonkin museoon. Emme kuitenkaan ole asiassa viel\u00e4 edenneet suuntaan tai toiseen, vaikka ITE Satakunnassa kartoitus-projektin tutkijat k\u00e4viv\u00e4tkin tauluja katsomassa viime vuonna. Yhden taulun haluan Raimolta joka tapauksessa s\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4\u00e4 taloon. Myrskyinen synkk\u00e4 maisema vieh\u00e4tt\u00e4\u00e4 minua jostakin syyst\u00e4 ja siksi myrskymaisema saakin nyt kaverin toisesta maisemasta. Harmaas\u00e4vyinen, taiteilija Petra Innasen Lofooteilla maalaama teos on melko suurikokoinen, joten se joutuu etsim\u00e4\u00e4n paikkaansa viel\u00e4 jonkin aikaa. Taulussa on my\u00f6s erikoisuus joka tekee siit\u00e4 viel\u00e4 erityisemm\u00e4n. Rannalla jossa Petra oli maalaamassa, juoksenteli koira ja se p\u00e4\u00e4tti juosta suoraan kostean maalauksen p\u00e4\u00e4lt\u00e4 j\u00e4tt\u00e4en tassunj\u00e4lkens\u00e4 taulun pintaan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Omaa paikkaansa etsii my\u00f6skin vuosia sitten saamani vanha vesiv\u00e4ri- tai guassi-maalaus. Se oli vuosia vain kansiossa s\u00e4il\u00f6ss\u00e4, mutta viime aikoina olen pit\u00e4nyt sit\u00e4 esill\u00e4, vaikka siin\u00e4 ei viel\u00e4 ole edes kehyksi\u00e4. Jotenkin minusta tuntuu ett\u00e4 vasta nyt t\u00e4m\u00e4kin teos on saapunut paikkaan jonne se kuuluu, taiteen kotiin. Ehk\u00e4 joskus rohkeutta on sen verran ett\u00e4 ripustan my\u00f6s omia teoksiani n\u00e4kyville. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t remember from the top of my mind if I have mentioned before that family who lived in our house, was quite artistic. Old lady who lived here almost whole of her life, was quite excentric artistic person. She chose the colours of the house to match her personality, mint green, bright yellot, pale green etc. I don’t know how much she painted herself, however her son was a painter and there are still four of his paintings in the house. Unfortunately Raimo died quite young, but the art lives on. Those four paintings display a portrait of person who perhaps longs for love and some sort of clarity, however is captured by his anxiety and loneliness. Person who sold the house to us (who was not a member of the family) told us that she does not like the crying man in the prison and they covered it with folding screen. Painting is screwed to the wall so it is not that easy to remove. I strongly suspect that they didn’t like any of these paintings because they were left behind. All other paintings they took with them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have been thinking perhaps donating these paintings to a museum. However we have not proceeded on that plan yet, even though local SelfMadeArt project visited us to see the paintings last year. One painting from Raimo I want definitely keep in the house. Stormy scene is somehow appealing to me and for that reason it now has companion. Gray scene, painted in Lofoten by artist Petra Innanen, is quite large painting so it’s still looking for location in the house. This piece of art has quite special feature which makes it even more special to me. On the beach where Petra was painting, had a dog running around and it decided to run ontop of the wet painting, leaving it’s paw prints on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also have old water colour or gouache painting, which was given to me years ago. It was long time just inside a folder in store, but recently I have kept it on display, even though it doesn’t even have frame. Somehow I now feel that it has finally reached a place it belongs to, home of art. Perhaps one day I have the courage to display my own art too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
