Meill\u00e4 tapahtuu nyt paljon asioita ensimm\u00e4ist\u00e4 kertaa. Ensimm\u00e4inen kuukausi uudessa kodissa, ensimm\u00e4inen kes\u00e4, ensimm\u00e4inen juhannus, ensimm\u00e4inen rankkasade, ensimm\u00e4inen s\u00e4hk\u00f6katko, pionien ensimm\u00e4inen kukinta jne. Sis\u00e4ll\u00e4 talossa ei tapahdu juuri nyt paljon mit\u00e4\u00e4n. Lomat, puutarhahommat ja helle ovat pist\u00e4neet remontoinnit v\u00e4h\u00e4n j\u00e4ihin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mutta ei se mit\u00e4\u00e4n, nautitaan kes\u00e4st\u00e4 ja ihmetell\u00e4\u00e4n mit\u00e4 uutta jokainen p\u00e4iv\u00e4 tuo. Jatkuvasti voi tulla uusia yll\u00e4tyksi\u00e4, esim ett\u00e4 montako kimalaispes\u00e4\u00e4 voi olla kuistin seinien sis\u00e4ll\u00e4, mist\u00e4 ihmeest\u00e4 kaikki k\u00e4rp\u00e4set tulevat tai miksi sy\u00f6ksytorvi ei ved\u00e4 sadevett\u00e4 vaan se valuu alas sein\u00e4\u00e4 pitkin. Kaikki yll\u00e4tykset eiv\u00e4t ole kivoja yll\u00e4tyksi\u00e4, mutta osa on. There are lots of things happening first time. First month in our new home, first summer, first Midsummer, first heavy rain, first power cut, first bloom of peonies etc. There is not much happening inside the house at the moment. Holidays, gardening and heatwave have put the renovations to halt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that is allright. Let’s just enjoy the summer and see all the wonders and surprises each day brings. I mean, there can be new surprises in everything, like how many bumble bee nests can be inside the lobby wall, where all these flies come from and why isn’t the rainwater drain taking the water but it’s coming down the wall. Not all surprises are nice, but some of them are. Like what colours are the peonies and that despite of the dry spell, I have managed to keep the kitchen garden alive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actually I came here to say happy Midsummer to all. I have traditionally done that here in the blog. So, Happy Midsummer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
