Olen venytt\u00e4nyt tarkoituksella t\u00e4m\u00e4n postauksen julkaisua sill\u00e4 eiv\u00e4t n\u00e4m\u00e4 asiat tapahdu yhdess\u00e4 y\u00f6ss\u00e4. T\u00e4t\u00e4kin projektia on alustettu pari kuukautta. Olemme nimitt\u00e4in hankkineet talon ostoa. Tuollaisen mintunvihre\u00e4n unelman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kuljen talon ohi usein t\u00f6ihin ja olen miettinyt, ett\u00e4 voi kumpa voisi ostaa tuollaisen ihanuuden. Er\u00e4s kaunis p\u00e4iv\u00e4 huomasin ett\u00e4 jeskamandeera, seh\u00e4n ON myynniss\u00e4! Siit\u00e4 asiat sitten eskaloituivat siihen pisteeseen, ett\u00e4 huomasimme yht\u00e4kki\u00e4 olevammekin asunton\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 tutkimassa paikkoja ja soittelemassa pankkiin ja tutkimassa hirsitalon kunnostusvinkkej\u00e4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talo on rakennettu 1900-luvun alussa. Aivan tarkkaa rakennusvuotta ei ole tiedossa, ehk\u00e4 20-luvulla, ehk\u00e4 aiemmin. Talossa on paljon tilaa ja isoja huoneita kahdessa kerroksessa. Se vet\u00e4isi t\u00e4ydellisesti minun ty\u00f6huoneeni ja is\u00e4nn\u00e4n harrastetilat ja jopa vierashuoneen ja kakkoskeitti\u00f6n. Talo on l\u00e4hes hehtaarin kokoisella tontilla, josta suurin osa on mets\u00e4\u00e4, joten nurmikonleikkuun kanssa ei joudu ihan pulaan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talo on kerrassaan hurmaava leveine rappusineen, saleineen, kaakeliuuneineen p\u00e4ivineen. Ty\u00f6t\u00e4 siin\u00e4 riitt\u00e4\u00e4, sill\u00e4 se ei ole mitenk\u00e4\u00e4n huippukunnossa. Uskon kuitenkin ett\u00e4 talon eteen n\u00e4hty vaiva ja ty\u00f6 olisi kaiken sen arvoista. Talossa on juuri sellaista luonnetta jota haluan kodiltani. Siin\u00e4 on my\u00f6s potentiaalia erilaisiin yritysideoihin tulevaisuuden varalle. Olemme j\u00e4tt\u00e4neet talosta tarjouksen. Nyt vain odotellaan mit\u00e4 myyj\u00e4 siihen sanoo. En ole t\u00e4ss\u00e4 vaiheessa ihan hirve\u00e4n toiveikas, sill\u00e4 minusta tuntuu ett\u00e4 myyj\u00e4 ei ihan t\u00e4ysin ymm\u00e4rr\u00e4 miten paljon remontit tulevat maksamaan ja ett\u00e4 nykyisess\u00e4 kunnossaan talo ei ole ihan niin arvokas kuin mit\u00e4 h\u00e4n haluaisi. Jos kaupat kaikesta huolimatta toteutuvat niin blogiin on luvassa muutoksia mm. erilaisten remppa ja sisustusp\u00e4ivitysten muodossa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been postponing this post on purpose, because these things don’t happen overnight. This project have been brewing for couple months now. We have been planning to buy a house. Mint green dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I drive past the house often on my way to work and I have been thinking that I wish I could buy a dream house like that. One fine day I noticed that my giddy aunt, it IS for sale! Then things quickly escalated to us going into the showing, calling to the bank and studying the renovation tips for log house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

House is built in early 1900’s. Exact year is not known, perhaps in 1920’s, perhaps even earlier. House has lots of space and large rooms in two floors. It would have enough space for my work studio and hubby’s hobby space and even guestroom and second kitchen. Land is almost one hectare, which is a lot for a house. Thankfully it’s mostly forest, so we would not strugle to mow the lawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is absolutely charming house with wide stairs, large drawing room, tile ovens etc. There is lots of work, it’s in a bit rough condition. But I believe that all that work and effort will be worth it. It’s got the character that I am looking for my home. It also has huge potential for future business ideas. We have placed our offer, now we just wait for sellers reply. I am not overly hopefull at this point because I feel that the owner does not fully understand how much the renovation will cost and that the house is not exactly as valuable as she wants it to be, in this current condition. However if the offer goes through and we end up buying the house, there will be changes in the blog. Obviously there will be lots of renovation and interior decoration posts coming then. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
