Edellisest\u00e4 kuukauden py\u00f6r\u00e4kuvasta on taas vier\u00e4ht\u00e4nyt vuosi. N\u00e4iss\u00e4 menn\u00e4\u00e4n nyt n\u00e4emm\u00e4 t\u00e4llaista kuva per vuosi-vauhtia. T\u00e4m\u00e4 kuva on itselleni t\u00e4rke\u00e4, vaikka polkupy\u00f6r\u00e4 onkin siin\u00e4 ihan sivuosassa ja n\u00e4kyy vain osittain, sill\u00e4 olen saanut sen lahjaksi lapsuusajan parhaalta yst\u00e4v\u00e4lt\u00e4. Kuva on saatettu ottaa syntym\u00e4kuntani Luopioisten kirkon pihamaalla, sielt\u00e4 ainakin l\u00f6ytyy tuollaisia kivimuureja. On siis mahdollista, ett\u00e4 siin\u00e4 poseeraa jopa joku sukulaiseni. Sen takana on lyijykyn\u00e4ll\u00e4 merkitty nimikirjaimet AK. Muita merkint\u00f6j\u00e4 kuvasta ei l\u00f6ydy, joten kuvaajan perusteellakaan ei voi tietoa etsi\u00e4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vaikka kuvaajan nimi ei ole tiedossa, on kuva melko helppo ajoittaa ainakin vuosikymmenen tarkkuudella. Kuvan neitosilla on 1920-luvulle tyypilliset keng\u00e4t, puvut ja hatut. Kahdella oikean reunan neitosella on samantyyliset suorat 20-luvun loppupuolen puvut, mutta vasemman puolisilla on puvuissa kapeampi ja korkeampi vy\u00f6t\u00e4r\u00f6linja. Se saattaa viitata jo 1930-luvun alkuun kun vy\u00f6t\u00e4r\u00f6 palasi taas oikealle paikalleen. Toisaalta hatut ovat kuitenkin selv\u00e4sti 20-luvun puolta, eritt\u00e4in tiiviisti p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00e4 my\u00f6t\u00e4ilevine kupuineen ja kapeine liereineen. Again it’s been a year since the last bike photo. Looks like I’m doing them about once a year. This photo is important to me because I received it as a gift from my childhood best friend, Even though the bike is very much in side role. It’s possibly been taken on the yard of the church of my birth place, atleast there are similar stone walls. So it’s also possible that there’s my relatives in the photo. On the back of the photo there are initials AK, written with pencil. There are no other markings, so this time I can’t find information with the photographer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though we don’t know the photographer, it’s relatively easy to date this photo, atleast decade-wise. Young ladies in this photo have typical 1920’s shoes, dresses and hats. Two women on the right have pretty similar straight dropped-waist outfits, with the style of late 1920’s. However two ladies on the left have a bit more slimmer and high-waisted dresses, which could be more very early 1930’s when waist returned to it’s natural height. On the other hand, hats are very much late 1920’s with headhugging shape and narrow brims. One of them seems to wear headscarf, which imitates cloche. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I call them young ladies, because white dresses might refer them being confirmation school graduates and their faces look very young. One of them seems to hold some sort of flower. Why is one of them wearing dark colours? Perhaps she is the big sister of them. Or perhaps she wanted to have something more practical for her confirmation dress. I don’t really know the history of confirmation dresses well enough to be able to tell if they all were supposed to wear same colour at that time. What ever the case, this photo is interesting detail from that era, even though we can’t really find out the backstory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
