Oho, blogi onkin j\u00e4\u00e4nyt v\u00e4h\u00e4n heitteille t\u00e4ss\u00e4 viimeaikoina. Tekemist\u00e4 on riitt\u00e4nyt, vaikka koko maailma el\u00e4\u00e4 nyt oudossa v\u00e4litilassa. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 on ollut v\u00e4h\u00e4n kaikenlaista af\u00e4\u00e4ri\u00e4. Marjat ja muu sato on vaatinut paneutumista. Sienestyskausi alkoi ja olen tehnyt sit\u00e4 ihan pitk\u00e4nkin kaavan mukaan. Sitten k\u00e4vi niin ett\u00e4 auto hajosi (ja tietenkin reisun p\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4) ja piti taas etsi\u00e4 uusi. Kaikki saatavilla oleva energia on siis mennyt l\u00e4hinn\u00e4 kotona puuhasteluun ja seuraavaan p\u00e4iv\u00e4\u00e4n selvi\u00e4miseen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mutta eip\u00e4 mit\u00e4\u00e4n. Tuntuu ett\u00e4 vihdoin nyt reilu puoli vuotta ty\u00f6paikan vaihdoksen j\u00e4lkeen alan vihdoin p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4 takaisin vintage-tyyliini. Kun osa vaatekaapin suosikkivaatteista ei en\u00e4\u00e4 mahdu, on pit\u00e4nyt kaivella pohjamutia my\u00f6ten. Olenkin l\u00f6yt\u00e4nyt kaapista vanhoja suosikkeja jotka ovat j\u00e4\u00e4neet viimevuosina v\u00e4h\u00e4lle k\u00e4yt\u00f6ll\u00e4. P\u00e4\u00e4asiassa siksi ett\u00e4 kun ty\u00f6aikana on pit\u00e4nyt k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 ty\u00f6vaatteita, ei ole yksinkertaisesti ollut en\u00e4\u00e4 aikaa pukeutua vintageen. Viikonloppuisinkin on tullut kiskaistua p\u00e4\u00e4lle vain se helpoin vaate, usein sekin on ollut aamutakki. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yksi suosikeista on t\u00e4m\u00e4 30-40-luvun noveltyprintti-mekko. Se on taidettu blogissa n\u00e4hd\u00e4 vain kerran vuosia sitten<\/a>. Mekko on siit\u00e4 j\u00e4nn\u00e4 ett\u00e4 malli on mielest\u00e4ni enemm\u00e4n 30-lukuinen, mutta kankaan printiss\u00e4 n\u00e4kyv\u00e4t keng\u00e4t ovat ehk\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n 40-luvun tyyli\u00e4. Mekossa ei ole vetskaria, nepparit l\u00f6ytyv\u00e4t miehustan etuosasta. Siin\u00e4 mieless\u00e4 30-40-luvun taite on t\u00e4ysin mahdollinen. Kotimaisissa vaatteissa vetoketjuja alkoi n\u00e4ky\u00e4 vasta 40-luvun puoliv\u00e4lin tiet\u00e4miss\u00e4. Niin tai n\u00e4in, t\u00e4m\u00e4 ohuehko mekko p\u00e4\u00e4see taas isommalle k\u00e4yt\u00f6lle siihen asti kunnes ilmat kylmenev\u00e4t. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minulla on muutenkin vaatekaapin muutos k\u00e4ynniss\u00e4. Makuni on alkanut suuntautua enemm\u00e4n 1900-luvun alun tyyliin joten 40-luvun tyyliset jutut pikku hiljaa katoavat kaapista. Jotain ehdinkin jo myyd\u00e4 Suvi-vintagessa Tallipihalla aiemmin, mutta viel\u00e4 l\u00f6ytyy ainakin pari kassillista tavaraa joista pit\u00e4isi p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4 eroon. Oops, blog has been a bit neglected recently. There has been lots of things to do, even though the whole world is living in weird limbo right now. Lots of things have been going on too. Berries and other harvest have needed my attention. Mushrooming season has started and I have done that with passion. Then our car broke (of course we were on a trip when it did) and we had to get a new one. All of my energy has gone to all of that, and on surviving to the next day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But not to worry. Finally I feel, over 6 months after I changed jobs, that I am able to return to my vintage style. When part of my vintage favourites don’t fit me anymore, I had to dig deep. I have been rediscovering some of my vintage treasures, which haven’t been worn much in recent years. Mainly because I just didn’t have enough time to wear them all. Wearing work clothes during the week, just didn’t leave me much time. Even weekends I chose to wear something else, quite often just bathrobe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of my favourites is this 30’s-40’s novelty print dress. I think it’s been in the blog only once before<\/a>, years ago. It is quite exciting, because style is to me quite 1930’s but shoes on the print look more 40’s. It doesn’t have zipper and there is just snap buttons in front. So turn of 30’s-40’s is plausible. Finnish-made garments didn’t really have zipper untill mid 40’s. What ever the case, this dress is now getting more wear untill weather gets colder again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My wardrobe is going through changes these days anyways. My taste has started to move towards early 1900’s and edwardian style. So my 1940’s style wardrobe I am slowly getting rid of. Some pieces I already sold in Suvi-Vintage a month ago. Would my readers have interest in blog flea market, or is that now totally old fashioned idea?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
