Moniko lukijoistani on lukenut lapsena sarjakuvia?<\/strong><\/span> Min\u00e4 muistan lukeneeni niit\u00e4 paljon ja kaikenlaisia. Suurin syyllinen sarjakuvien suurkulutukseen oli varmasti tv-ohjelmien (ja kanavien)<\/strong><\/span>, tietokoneiden ja pelikonsolien puuttuminen. Lapsuudessani kivikaudella tietokoneet olivat luokkaa Spectrum<\/a>, Commodore 64<\/a> ja my\u00f6hemmin Amiga 500.\u00a0 Tietokonepelien lataaminen kasettiasemalla vei ikuisuuden eik\u00e4 niit\u00e4 pelej\u00e4k\u00e4\u00e4n ollut kovin laajasti saatavilla. Tv-kananaviakaan ei ollut kuin kaksi ja ohjelmat p\u00e4\u00e4ttyiv\u00e4t yleens\u00e4 siin\u00e4 kymmenen aikaan viimeist\u00e4\u00e4n.\u00a0 Lasten ajanvietteet olivat varsin toisenlaisia kuin nyky\u00e4\u00e4n. Sarjakuvia ja kirjoja luettiin siis varsin ahkerasti. Varsinaisesti tyt\u00f6ille suunnattuja sarjakuvia ei tuolloin juuri ollut, joten lukemistooni kuuluivat Tintti, H\u00e4mis, Hopeanuoli (villinl\u00e4nnen sarjakuva)<\/strong><\/span>, Aku Ankka, Lucky Luke ja tietenkin Mustanaamio<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Eilen korviini kantautui suruviesti. Kulttimaineeseen nousseen Mustanaamion julkaiseminen Suomessa on nyt loppu.<\/strong><\/span> Tilaajam\u00e4\u00e4rien pudottua kannattamattomiin lukemiin p\u00e4\u00e4tti kustannusyhti\u00f6 ett\u00e4 Vaeltavan aaveen matka loppuu t\u00e4h\u00e4n. Viimeinen numero, joka sis\u00e4lt\u00e4\u00e4 nostalgisesti vanhoja Mustis-tarinoita ilmestyi eilen, 24.11.2010.<\/p>\n

\nHow many of you have read cartoons\/comics as a kid?<\/strong><\/span> I remember reading them a lot, all sorts. The biggest reason for that must be the lack of tv programs (and channels)<\/strong><\/span>, lack of computers and colsole games. In my childhood, at the stone ages computers were called Spectrum<\/a>, Commodore 64<\/a> and later Amiga 500. It took ages to load a game on cassette station and there wasn’t that many games available. There was only two tv channels and programs ended usually around ten in the evening. Amusements for kids were pretty different than nowadays. So we read comics and books quite a lot. There wasn’t much comics for girls so my favourite reading was Tintin, Spiderman, Silver Arrow (comic from Netherlands, located in wild west)<\/strong><\/span>, Donald Duck, Lucky Luke and of course Phantom<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Yesterday I heard sad message.\u00a0 The Phantom is no longer published here in Finland.<\/strong><\/span> Publisher decided that it was time to let it go since it hasn’t exactly been a gold mine anymore for years. So the adventures of The Ghost who walkes have ended here. Last issue with old Phantom-stories was published yesterday, 24.11.2010.<\/p>\n
