Viime vuoden joulukalenterissa kerroin yhdest\u00e4 harrastuksestani, mustekynill\u00e4 kirjoittamisesta eli calligrafiasta. T\u00e4n\u00e4 vuonna sain K\u00e4den Taidot-messuilta vihdoin hankittua kyn\u00e4varren johon ter\u00e4 tulee kulmittain. Olen halunnut testata t\u00e4llaista kyn\u00e4\u00e4 jo pitk\u00e4\u00e4n, sill\u00e4 kirjoittaminen pit\u00e4isi olla v\u00e4hemm\u00e4n k\u00e4tt\u00e4 rasittavaa kuin tavallisella. Sain kaupan p\u00e4\u00e4lle my\u00f6s kaksi erilaista pehme\u00e4mp\u00e4\u00e4 ter\u00e4\u00e4, Gillott 303 ja Gillot 404. Pehmeill\u00e4 terill\u00e4 on tarkoitus saada painoa vaihtelemalla ohuempaa ja paksumpaa j\u00e4lke\u00e4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ehdin nyt vihdoin testaamaan t\u00e4t\u00e4 oblique-kyn\u00e4\u00e4 ja voi pojat. Totuttelu erilaiseen ter\u00e4n asentoon ottaa kyll\u00e4 oman aikansa. Aikamoisia harakanvarpaita n\u00e4ist\u00e4 tulikin. Saattaa olla ett\u00e4 tekniikkani on v\u00e4h\u00e4n huono, pit\u00e4nee perehty\u00e4 jonkun juutuubi-videon avulla t\u00e4h\u00e4n hommaan oikein ajan kanssa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In last year’s Christmas calendar I told about one of my hobbies, writing with ink pens, aka calligraphy. This year’s handicraft fair was a success, because I managed to finally find oblique pen where nib is placed in an angle. I have wanted to test oblique pen for long time. Apparently writing with it should be less strain on hand. I also got two soft nibs as a bonus, Gillott 303 and Gillot 404. Soft nibs are for creating various thicknesses on the writing, just by pressing less or more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally I had time to try the new oblique pen and boy, oh boy. It sure takes time to get used to the different nib angle. These squiggles don’t look pretty. I think my technique might be a bit poorly. I have to watch some youtube videos about it to get the hang of it, or something. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think the whole pen is in a wrong angle on my hand and that’s why it was so tricky.
Also I forgot to burn off the storage oil from the nib, so I had to keep adding ink constantly.<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
