\nBlogia kirjoittavat lontoolaiset Carys ja Amelia. Carys on enemm\u00e4n \u00e4\u00e4ness\u00e4, joten h\u00e4nen kauniita asujaan voi ihailla l\u00e4hes p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4in. Carys yhdistelee asuihinsa hauskalla tavalla uutta ja vanhaa. Huumorintajuisten nuorten naisten blogi on el\u00e4m\u00e4niloinen ja t\u00e4ynn\u00e4 kauniita vintage-asuja ja hauskoja valokuvia. Satunnaisesti blogissa vierailee Henri,\u00a0 ranskalainen valokuvaaja, Carysin siskon alter ego.<\/p>\n

Authors Carys and Amelia live in London. Carys seems to be the one talking more, so you can admire her pretty outfits almost every day. Carys has a lovely way to combine new and old cloths in one ensemble. These lovely young ladies ooze happiness and show loads of pretty vintage outfits and funny photos. Occasionally blog has a visitor, Henri, the french photographer, alter ego of Carys’ sister.<\/em><\/p>\n

Casey’s Elegant musings<\/strong><\/span><\/a>
\nBlogin kirjoittaja, Casey, on graafinen suunnittelija. Caseyn t\u00f6iss\u00e4 kuvastuu rakkaus vintageen<\/strong><\/span> ja vanhanaikainen estetiikka n\u00e4kyy my\u00f6s blogin ulkoasussa. Monipuolisesti lahjakkaita miehi\u00e4 kutsutaan renesanssimiehiksi. Naisista ei koskaan puhuta mit\u00e4\u00e4n mutta Casey on mielest\u00e4ni renesanssinainen. Kun harrastuksiin kuuluvat mm. sisustaminen, neulominen, ompelu, piirt\u00e4minen, kirjoittaminen on pakko puhua monilahjakkuudesta. Elegant musings on miellytt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 luettavaa niin visuaalisesti kuin sis\u00e4ll\u00f6llisestikin<\/strong><\/span>. Kauniit valokuvat Caseyn kotoa ja vintagel\u00f6yd\u00f6ist\u00e4 antavat jatkuvasti inspiraatiota ainakin minulle.<\/p>\n

Casey, the author of this blog is a graphic designer. In her work you can see the reflection of her love for vintage<\/strong><\/span>. The old style aesthetics can be also seen at the visual look of the blog. Multitalented men are often mentioned as renessaince men. They never say anything about multitalented women, but I think Casey is renessaince woman. When having decorating, knitting, sewing, drawing and writing as a hobby, one must be a multitalent. Elegant musings is very stimulating, both visually and intellectually<\/strong><\/span>. Beautiful photos from her home and of her vintage finds are giving me continuous inspiration. <\/em><\/p>\n

Gertie’s New Blog for better sewing<\/strong><\/span><\/a>
\nJos harrastat ompelua ja vintagea, t\u00e4m\u00e4 blogi on ehdottomasti tutustumisen arvoinen. Gertie on erityisesti vintageen erikoistunut ompelija<\/strong><\/span> jonka vinkit saavat homman kuin homman tuntumaan helpommalta. Blogissa voit perehty\u00e4 ompelun saloihin vaikkapa ompele-mukana postauksien muodossa kun Gertie n\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 perinpohjaisesti miten ommellaan esim villakankainen takki. Seuraava ompele-mukana on alkamassa ihan pian<\/strong><\/span> ja t\u00e4ll\u00e4 kertaa ommellaan kietaisumekko.<\/p>\n

If you have both sewing and vintage as a hobby, this blog is definetly worth of checking. Gertie is a seamstress specialised on vintage<\/strong><\/span>. Her tips make anything seem much easier to do. You can dig deep into the sewing techniques by reading her sew-along posts. On those Gertie shows for example how to make wool coat. Next sew-along is about to start<\/strong><\/span> and this time it’s a wrap up dress. <\/em><\/p>\n
