You tend to have good ideas. Some years back I bought these felt slippers from flea market. I have used them a lot. Our apartment has electrical heating so floors tend to be a bit drafty. I get cold feet very easily so I love to wear my slippers all the time. I do like wool socks too, but slippers are just so easy to put on and take off. But now I&#8217;m in the situation critical: one slipper already has two holes in it. Soles weren&#8217;t particularly thick from the beginning, but I have used them so much the soles are really worn out quite fast.<\/p>\n<p>I have thought about the most reasonable way to repair them. They are quiet charming, so I would like to repair them rather than replacing. First I thought I could cut insoles from felted wool and either needle felt or sew them on. Unfortunately thick wool felt is quite expensive. But if you can tip me a shop that sells wool felt in affordable prices, pleas do. I&#8217;m not interested in acrylic felt.
