Olemme osallistuneen t\u00e4n\u00e4 vuonna jo kerran Museet Ett Hem’in<\/a> el\u00e4v\u00f6itystapahtumaan. Turun Taiteiden y\u00f6n\u00e4 museossa parveili Herra ja Rouva Jacobssonien lis\u00e4ksi muuta aikalaisv\u00e4ke\u00e4. Yleis\u00f6 sai vapaasti kierrell\u00e4 museossa ja el\u00e4v\u00f6itt\u00e4j\u00e4t tekiv\u00e4t mit\u00e4 tekiv\u00e4t. Mit\u00e4\u00e4n opastettua kierrosta ei ollut.<\/p>\n

Seuraavan kerran olemme menossa el\u00e4v\u00f6itt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n sunnuntaina 16.12 jolloin Jacobssoneilla valmistellaan joulua<\/a>. Draamaopastuksilla n\u00e4hd\u00e4\u00e4n palvelusv\u00e4en jouluvalmisteluja, varmaankin kuusenkoristelua, ehk\u00e4 illallisp\u00f6yd\u00e4n valmistelua ja kirjeiden kirjoittamista. Jacobssonien ajuri ja yleismies Nieminen on omilla asioillaan, joten Jacobssoneille on palkattu v\u00e4liaikaisesti englantilainen hovimestari, joka toimii samalla my\u00f6s ajurin ominaisuudessa. Meh\u00e4n tied\u00e4mme millaisia englantilaiset hovimestarit ovat, sellaisia hyvin oman arvonsa tuntevia. Saattaa olla ett\u00e4 Olga, Tilda, Sanny ja muu palvelusv\u00e4ki joutuvat hankaluuksiin kun hovimestari Samuels nuuskii sel\u00e4n takana. Ehk\u00e4 taloudenhoitaja Greta saa jonkinlaisen rauhan s\u00e4ilytetty\u00e4 talossa. Tule katsomaan miten 1900-luvun alussa elettiin paremmissa piireiss\u00e4.<\/p>\n

We have taken part once this year at Museum Ett Hem<\/a> living history event. Museum had open doors at the Night of the Arts. Guests were able to roam freely in the museum and re-enactors were creating atmosphere from the early 1900’s. There was no guided tours that time.<\/p>\n

Next time will be on Sunday 16th of December when Christmas preparations<\/a> are on. Drama tours in the museum will tell history of Jacobssons but also how Christmas was spent in early 1900’s. There might be some decorationg the Christmas tree, perhaps setting the dinner table, writing letters back home and so on. Jacobssons regular driver Nieminen had to go away for while, so they hired temporary buttle from England. We all know how butlers are, very distinguished. It might be that maids Olga, Tilda, Sanny and other servants are in trouble when butler Samuels is snooping behind their backs. Perhaps housekeeper Greta is able to maintain some sort of peace among the staff. Come and see how the cream of 1900’s spent Christmas.<\/p>\n
