Meill\u00e4 n\u00f6rtteily painottuu l\u00e4hinn\u00e4 is\u00e4nn\u00e4n pelaamiseen, yhteiseen scifi-harrastukseen ja meik\u00e4l\u00e4isen historiapuku-n\u00f6rtteilyyn. Ehk\u00e4p\u00e4 suurin yhteinen fanituksen kohde lienee Star Trek. Leffojen ja tv-sarjojen katsomisen lis\u00e4ksi t\u00e4nne kotiin on kertynyt jonkin verran ker\u00e4ilytavaraa jotka ajattelin nyt esitell\u00e4 teille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Star Trek-tavarasta leffa- ja tv-tuotannon j\u00e4lkeen helpointa hankittavaa on varmaankin kirjallisuus. Sit\u00e4 l\u00f6ytyy paljon ja saatavuus on varsin hyv\u00e4 my\u00f6s Suomessa, joskin se on yleens\u00e4 englanninkielist\u00e4. Star Treki\u00e4 on julkaistu sek\u00e4 sarjakuvina ett\u00e4 kirjasarjoina joita meilt\u00e4 l\u00f6ytyy molempia. Alkuper\u00e4issarjan sarjakuvat muistaakseni n\u00e4ist\u00e4 kirjoista uusimpia hankintoja. Niit\u00e4 ei nyt jostain syyst\u00e4 l\u00f6ytynyt kuvattavaksi, miss\u00e4 lienev\u00e4t. Viimeaikoina ei ole tullut juurikaan hankittua mit\u00e4\u00e4n uutta, sill\u00e4 tilaa niiden esille panoon ei hirve\u00e4sti ole t\u00e4ll\u00e4 hetkell\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi meill\u00e4 on tietysti omatekoiset uniformut joita k\u00e4yt\u00e4mme toisinaan. Min\u00e4 ehk\u00e4 hiukan ahkerammin kuin is\u00e4nt\u00e4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meilt\u00e4 l\u00f6ytyy muitakin scifi- ja fantasia-ker\u00e4ilyjuttuja mm. Farscapesta, Harry Potterista, ja Dr Who’sta, mutta niist\u00e4 ehk\u00e4 lis\u00e4\u00e4 toisella kertaa. Jos pidit t\u00e4st\u00e4 postauksesta, saatat ehk\u00e4 tyk\u00e4t\u00e4 my\u00f6s t\u00e4st\u00e4 ikivanhasta postauksesta jossa asennan itselleni vulcanuslaiset korvat<\/a>. Valitettavasti postaus on todellakin aivan blogin alkuajoilta ja olen kadottanut alkuper\u00e4iset valokuvat joten en voi ladata niit\u00e4 blogiin parempilaatuisina. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are pretty much as geek as they come. Geekyness can be anything from games to books, from movies to computer stuff, history, art, you name it. Our geeky stuff is mostly hubby’s gaming, both of ours scifi-fandom and my costume history geekyness. Our biggest fandom is probably Star Trek. We have managed to collect some items over the years, so here they are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most common stuff of Star Trek is the movies and tv-series, but after that probably comes the books. There is lots of it and availability even here in Finland is pretty good, allthough it is usually only in english. Star Trek has also been published a lot in novels and cartoons. We have some editions of both. Cartoons of the original series are probably the most recent find on the literate section. Though I could not find them for photographying, I wonder where they are. We also have some sourcebooks and encyclopedias about the Star Trek realm with star charts and so on and catalog of collectibles too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also have couple cd-rom info packages, but I don’t think they work on modern computers anymore. On unopened packages we got table-top-calendar and HotWheels Enterprise. Hubby’s pride and joy is official numbered collectible figure of Captain Kirk and Gorm fighting. We also got couple mugs, which are not official collectibles. Specialty is official Star Trek belt buckle which I bought as a present for hubby some years back. It is probably one of my favourites. He also has Star Trek bathrobe, which is unfortunately now in too wornout condition to be photographed. Latest addition to the collection from last years Worldcon must be photo and signature of the actor Kate Mulgrew. Recently we haven’t bought anything new, because we don’t really have enough space to display everything properly at the moment. We also have our homemade uniforms which we occasionally use. I little bit more often than hubby, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also have collectibles from other scifi and fantasy for example Farscape, Harry Potter and Dr Who, but perhaps I tell you more about those some other time.
