Tarkistin juuri ett\u00e4 olen julkaissut edellisen kuukauden py\u00f6r\u00e4kuvan viimeksi melko tarkkaan vuosi sitten. Oho hups. T\u00e4m\u00e4nkertainen py\u00f6r\u00e4kuva on itselleni varsin merkityksellinen. Kuvassa on mummuni t\u00e4ti Aili veljineen.\u00a0Toinen n\u00e4ist\u00e4 nuorista herroista on mummuni is\u00e4, mutta en ik\u00e4v\u00e4 kyll\u00e4 muista kumpi enk\u00e4 pysty juuri nyt sit\u00e4 tarkistamaan.\u00a0Kuvatekstiss\u00e4 lukee “Kotipihassa koivun alla”. Kuvan takana on valokuvaamon leima “Valokuvaaja K.A. Laine, P\u00e4lk\u00e4ne”. Olen kirjoittanut blogiin Aili-t\u00e4dist\u00e4<\/a> aiemminkin. H\u00e4n muutti melko nuorena Kanadaan ja asui siell\u00e4 l\u00e4hes koko aikuisen el\u00e4m\u00e4ns\u00e4. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 kuvassa Aililla on p\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 muodikas 20-luvun alkupuolen kes\u00e4mekko jossa on erikoinen piparkakkureunainen helma ja kaulus. Helmasta erottuu aavistus jonkinlaista kirjailua tai aplikaatiota. Aili oli syntynyt 1902 joten t\u00e4ss\u00e4 kuvassa h\u00e4n on ehk\u00e4 15-20-vuotias.<\/p>\n

I just checked, I have posted last bike photo of the month pretty much a year ago. Oops. This photo is important to me. In the middle is my Granny’s aunt Aili and her brothers. So one of the young men is my Granny’s father. Unfortunately I don’t remember which one, and I can’t check it right now. Under the photo it says “On our home yard, under the birch tree”. Behind the photo is the hallmark of the photographer “Valokuvaaja K.A. Laine, P\u00e4lk\u00e4ne”. I have written about Aunt Aili before<\/a>. She was pretty young when she moved to Canada, and lived there pretty much her whole adulthood. In this photo Aili is wearing fashionable summer dress from early 1920’s. It has unusual scalloped hem and collar. You can barely see that there is some sort of embroidery or applique on the hem. Aili was born in 1902 so she must be about 15-20 in this photo.<\/p>\n
