Olen aina ihaillut ihmisi\u00e4, jotka osaavat vaivattomasti yhdistell\u00e4 asuihinsa erilaisia kuviollisia vaatteita. Ennakkoluulottomasti he heitt\u00e4v\u00e4t yhteen ruutua, raitaa, kukkia ja el\u00e4imi\u00e4. V\u00e4rej\u00e4k\u00e4\u00e4n ei heid\u00e4n asuistaan puutu. (Yksi t\u00e4llainen pukeutuja on mm.<\/span> Mis Papelicos-blogia<\/a> kirjoittava Sacramentos)<\/span><\/strong> Olen aina halunnut osata sen homman, mutta aina yritt\u00e4ess\u00e4ni on peilin edess\u00e4 tullut uskon puute. Eilen aamulla pukiessani vaatteita tajusin yht\u00e4kki\u00e4 ett\u00e4 hei, mullahan on t\u00e4ss\u00e4 nyt kahta kuviollista asiaa p\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4! Ihan yht\u00e4kki\u00e4 ajattelematta, out of the blue. Miten t\u00e4ss\u00e4 nyt n\u00e4in p\u00e4\u00e4si k\u00e4ym\u00e4\u00e4n? Itseasiassa tied\u00e4n vastauksen t\u00e4h\u00e4n. Talvivaatteissa valikoimani on paljon rajallisempi kuin kes\u00e4vaatteissa, joten on isompi mahdollisuus ett\u00e4 kuviolliset yl\u00e4- ja alaosa p\u00e4\u00e4tyv\u00e4t p\u00e4\u00e4lle yht\u00e4aikaa. Kukallinen villa-angora-kashmir-neule on tammikuinen kirppisl\u00f6yt\u00f6 H\u00e4meenlinnasta. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tyyppinen lyhythihainen neule menee ehk\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n 50-luvun tyyliin joka ei ole itselleni se mieluisin. Mutta s\u00f6p\u00f6t v\u00e4rit ja paljetit, kuka voisi vastustaa! Asusta voidaan muuten olla montaa mielt\u00e4. Ehk\u00e4 t\u00e4m\u00e4 nyt ei viel\u00e4 ihan niiden maailman kymmenen parhaan kuvioyhdistelm\u00e4n joukkoon viel\u00e4 yll\u00e4, mutta hyv\u00e4 alku kumminkin.<\/p>\n

I have always admired people who can effortlessly combine different prints and patterns in their outfits. Open-mindedly they combine plaids, stripes, florals and animals. And usually these outfits don’t lack colour either. (One of these people is for example Sacramento, who writes the<\/span> Mis Papelicos blog<\/a>.)<\/strong> I have always wanted to do that, but when trying I have lacked trust and vision. I seem to be more at home in solid colours or outfits with just one patterned fabric. Just look at my outfit photos. Accessories (like hats, gloves, scarfs or bags)<\/strong><\/span> might have different patterns, but if I wear patterned blouse, skirt is solid colour. And vice versa.<\/p>\n

Yesterday when I was getting dressed I realized suddenly that, wow, I am wearing two patterns right now! Without thinking about it, out of the blue. How did that happen? Actually I know the answer. My Winter clothes selection is much smaller than Summer clothes selection. So there is more chance on patterned top and bottom to be combined. This floral wool-angora-cashmere knit top is thrift find from H\u00e4meenlinna in January. This sort of jumper is more of 50’s style, which is not really my forte. However, cute colours and sequins, who could resist! About the outfit itself we can have many opinions. Perhaps it’s not among the top ten pattern combinations of the world, but it’s a good start.<\/p>\n
