Taannoin sattui niin, ett\u00e4 Tampereella oli Tapahtumien y\u00f6. Ja oli muuten Robbie Williamsin konsertti samaan aikaan. Tapahtumien y\u00f6 sin\u00e4ns\u00e4 on ollut viime vuosina pienoinen pettymys, ei v\u00e4hiten v\u00e4enpaljoutensa vuoksi, mutta t\u00e4n\u00e4 vuonna p\u00e4\u00e4timme kaverin kanssa l\u00e4hte\u00e4 sen verran py\u00f6r\u00e4ht\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n kaupungissa, ett\u00e4 k\u00e4vimme katsomassa Milavidassa Valentinon puku-n\u00e4yttelyn. Se on avoinna viel\u00e4 15.10.17 asti!<\/p>\n

N\u00e4yttelyss\u00e4 on vain muutama puku, mutta millainen puku! Herra Garavani ei itse en\u00e4\u00e4 suunnittele pukuja muotitalolleen, mutta kaikki n\u00e4yttelyn puvut ovat h\u00e4nen itsens\u00e4 suunnittelemia. Niiss\u00e4 korostuvat ylelliset kankaat ja huippuunsa hiottu k\u00e4sity\u00f6taito ja -perinne. Leikkaukset ovat n\u00e4ytt\u00e4vi\u00e4 ja yksinkertaisimmaltakin n\u00e4ytt\u00e4v\u00e4n puvun rakenteet ovat monimutkaiset. Niiss\u00e4 saa my\u00f6s n\u00e4ky\u00e4 k\u00e4sity\u00f6n j\u00e4lki, kuten mikado-silkille k\u00e4sinmaalatuissa korallikuvioissa. Pieni n\u00e4yttely on sit\u00e4kin kiinnostavampi ja suosittelen sit\u00e4 kaikille muodista, haute couturesta ja k\u00e4sity\u00f6tekniikoista kiinnostuneille. N\u00e4yttelyss\u00e4 on nimitt\u00e4in esill\u00e4 my\u00f6s n\u00e4ytteit\u00e4 erilaisista kirjonta-tekniikoista. Fantastica!<\/p>\n

Recently we had something called Night of the Events in Tampere. It is evening when the whole center of town turns into one big showcase of art and performance. You can find anything from music to fire art, theater to exhibitions and much more. And as it happened, Robbie Williams concert filled the other half of the town center on the same night. So it was packed. The Night of the Events has been a bit disappointment for me in recent years, mostly because it has been so popular it’s been difficult to watch the small performances. This time me and my friend decided to join in anyway, just enough to go and see the Valentino gown exhibition in Museum Milavida. It is open untill 15.10.17!<\/p>\n

There is only couple gowns in the exhibition, but what kind of gowns! Mr Garavani does not design for his fashion house anymore, but all of the gowns in this exhibition are designed by him. Dresses highlight the luxurious fabrics and top notch handcrafting and tradition. Cuts are fantastic and even the most simple looking gowns are complicated in structure. It is also important that you can see they are clearly handmade, like the hand painted coral motifs on micado silk. This exhibition is small, but very interesting and I highly recommend it to all who are interested in fashion, haute couture and handcrafting techniques. Because there is also samples of embroidery techniques on display. Fantastica!<\/p>\n
