Fiskars ja koko Raaseporin alue on varsin pittoreskia pikkuruisine ruukkikylineen. Siell\u00e4 k\u00e4y mielikseen ihan muuten vaan kes\u00e4lomareisulla. Tosin t\u00e4ll\u00e4 kertaa populaa oli ihan ruuhkaksi asti joten pit\u00e4ydyimme poissa paikallisista ravitsemusliikkeist\u00e4 \u00a0jo ihan oman mukavuuden vuoksi. Itse antiikkitapahtuma-alue oli maksullinen. Omasta mielest\u00e4ni kymppi sis\u00e4\u00e4np\u00e4\u00e4symaksua ostos-tapahtumaan on v\u00e4h\u00e4n liikaa, mutta kun ei n\u00e4iss\u00e4 nyt ihan joka viikko tule k\u00e4yty\u00e4 niin menetteli juuri ja juuri. My\u00f6s itse tapahtuma-alueen ulkopuolelta l\u00f6ytyi myyji\u00e4, hieman edullisemmalla hinta-tasolla. Vaikka kyll\u00e4 siell\u00e4kin myyj\u00e4t osasivat pit\u00e4\u00e4 huolen hintatasosta. En vaan suostu maksamaan 50 \u20ac rikkin\u00e4isest\u00e4 valokuva-albumista vaikka se olisi miten hieno ja vanha.<\/p>\n
Jos etsii erikoisuuksia ja todellista antiikkia niin t\u00e4m\u00e4 tapahtuma on ehdottomasti silloin se juttu. Tavaraa oli monenmoista. Varsinaista vintage-vaatetta ei kovin monella myyj\u00e4ll\u00e4 ollut, mutta kaikkea muuta mielenkiintoista kyll\u00e4 pikkutilpeh\u00f6\u00f6rist\u00e4 isompiin huonekaluihin. Kallein n\u00e4kem\u00e4ni hintalappu oli noin 3500\u20ac, messinkinen p\u00f6yt\u00e4teleskooppi. Kirppishintaisia l\u00f6yt\u00f6j\u00e4 ei juuri kannata odotella. Eniten aikaa k\u00e4ytin osastolla joka myi 1800-luvun printtej\u00e4, kuten karttoja ja kuvituskuvia. Monet osastot oli rakennettu tyylikk\u00e4\u00e4sti ja esineet valittu huolellisesti tapahtuman hengen mukaan. Ostin kristalleja, 1800-luvun muotiprintin ja hopeisen sormustimen.<\/p>\n
Antique fair for all Finnish antique dealers has been held in Raasepori area for over 30 years now. I have heard about it before, but only admired other peoples finds in their blogs. This year I decided, I want to join in. I didn’t really know what to expect, but I assumed that it would be high on price range over all. I wasn’t wrong.<\/p>\n Day was the most beautiful one, so we decided to do this like a proper holiday trip. Early in the morning we popped in to a local thrift event in Stormi. That also has been held quite many years now, over ten if I recall correctly. It is similar, but smaller, \u00a0to the Restauranta-event in Kangasala, which I have blogged before. There was still loads to see in Stormi. I found small jar for ball of yarn and cook book reprint from 1893. Then we had 2,5 hours drive to Fiskars antique fair.<\/p>\n Fiskars and the whole Raasepori area are very pictoresque area with small villages. It is lovely place for summer holiday. This time it was very busy because of the antique fair. We decided to stay out of the restaurants. The antique fair itself had entrance fee. I think 10 \u20ac fee is a bit much to a shopping event. However we paid it, after all we don’t visit these kind of events every week. There were also stalls outside the actual fair, with more moderate prices too. Even though these antique and vintage dealers do know how to get their profit. I will not pay 50 \u20ac for a broken photo album, vintage or not, fancy or not.<\/p>\n If you are looking for special items, rarities and real antique, this is definitely go-to event. There were loads of stuff. Not so much vintage clothing, but other interesting items. Small trinkets, table ware and furniture even. Most expensive price tag I saw, was about 3500 \u20ac for a brass table telescope. So not so much charity shop or yard sales prices. Longest time I spent on stall that sold 1800’s prints, like maps and such. Many stalls were built very stylishly and items picked carefully just for the event.
