Vaikka pid\u00e4nkin todella paljon tanssiaisista ja notkuvasta ruokap\u00f6yd\u00e4st\u00e4 niin t\u00e4m\u00e4 vapaamuotoisempi tapahtuma oli oikein mieluisaa vaihtelua. Tanssiaisissa oli viimekerralla yli 70 vierasta ja t\u00e4llainen pienimuotoisempi, rauhallisempi tapahtuma ehdottomasti puolsi paikkaansa. Yksi p\u00e4iv\u00e4n kohokohtia oli puistossa em\u00e4ntineen ulkoilleet vauhdikkaat corgit jotka meid\u00e4t ikkunasta n\u00e4hty\u00e4\u00e4n kirmasivat suoraan terassin ovien kautta sis\u00e4\u00e4n (meid\u00e4n suosiollisella avustuksella toki)<\/strong><\/span>. Toivottavasti vastaavia p\u00e4iv\u00e4tapahtumia j\u00e4rjestet\u00e4\u00e4n jatkossakin.<\/p>\n Ja sitten hieman kuvia. Here it finally is.<\/p>\n Winter day at Manor house was long waited day-time 1700’s event in Tampere. L’Amusette-group has been arranging Christmas Balls and other winter events before, but I don’t remember them having more relaxed day time events in a long time. For the program they had planned sewing, reading, games, little bit of dance, lunch and afternoon tea.<\/p>\n More laid back event didn’t require so much effort from organizers, so they were also able to enjoy the atmosphere without stress. We started before midday with sewing salon with latest fashion and making\u00a0rosettes (Revolution is coming!)<\/strong><\/span>. At the same time we were able educate ourselves and listen Voltaire’s Micromegas, which was read out loud. Afternoon we had chicken soup for lunch. After lunch we had little bit of free time before our Dance master taught us latest fashionable dances from France. When we were all exhausted from dancing \u00a0Marseillaise, it was perfect time to have afternoon tea with pie and bisquits. While having tea we heard some 1700’s thoughts about how suitable or desirable it is for women to educate themselves. After tea there was still some time to play games and do some sewing.<\/p>\n Even though I really love the masquerade ball and tables full of food, relaxed event was very nice. There was over 70 guests at the ball last Spring, so this laid back, small event certainly was\u00a0spot on for a change. One of the highlights of the day was two cute corgi’s who were having an outing at the park with their owners. Dogs noticed us through window and ran straight in through the terrace doors (with our help ofcourse)<\/strong><\/span>. Hopefully there is more like this coming in the future.<\/p>\n And then some photos.
