Kun kes\u00e4 oli \u00e4rsytt\u00e4v\u00e4n kylm\u00e4 ja sateinen niin Elokuu on ollut yll\u00e4tt\u00e4v\u00e4n l\u00e4mmin ja aurinkoinen. Tekemist\u00e4 on riitt\u00e4nyt sen verran paljon, ett\u00e4 tuntuu ett\u00e4 viikonloppuja ei ole ollut tarpeeksi. K\u00e4vin pitk\u00e4st\u00e4 aikaa hammasl\u00e4\u00e4k\u00e4rill\u00e4 tarkastuksessa ja kuuntelin tuolissa kauhusta kankeana mit\u00e4 h\u00e4nell\u00e4 oli sanottavaa. Mikrofraktuuroiden m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4st\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4tellen ei mit\u00e4\u00e4n hyv\u00e4\u00e4. Pit\u00e4isi kuulemma hankkia kisko y\u00f6ll\u00e4 n\u00e4lj\u00e4tt\u00e4v\u00e4ksi. Lis\u00e4ksi poikettiin Turku Pride-marssilla loppukuusta. Mets\u00e4ss\u00e4kin ollaan ehditty is\u00e4nn\u00e4n kanssa rymyt\u00e4 ja l\u00f6ysimme ihkaensimm\u00e4iset herkkutattimme. Niist\u00e4 kertyi kuivattuna kokonainen lasipurkillinen talven sienikastikeaineksia, vaikka saalis ei mik\u00e4\u00e4n iso ollutkaan ja osa siit\u00e4 meni matoisena roskiin.<\/p>\n

Syyskuussa alkaa vihdoin taas baletti, kirjoittelen siit\u00e4 lis\u00e4\u00e4 ihan l\u00e4hip\u00e4ivin\u00e4. Sitten pit\u00e4isi kunnostella pari kaunista vintagemekkoa, jotka yst\u00e4v\u00e4 anteliaasti lahjoitti. Pit\u00e4isi viimein valmistaa loppuun my\u00f6s jo useampi vuosi sitten aloitettu kureliivi. Luiksi tulevat ruo’ot on nyt vihdoin tilattu ja saatu. Viel\u00e4 pit\u00e4isi ainakin kerran ehti\u00e4 sienimets\u00e4\u00e4n ja ehk\u00e4 jopa puolukkaan jos oikein villiksi heitt\u00e4ydyn. Muutoin mit\u00e4\u00e4n isoja menoja ei ole suunnitteilla, kes\u00e4 on ollut sellaista menoa ja meininki\u00e4 ett\u00e4 voisi olla hyv\u00e4 v\u00e4lill\u00e4 vaan upota sohvannurkkaan ja syventy\u00e4 kirjoihin.<\/p>\n

Summer was annoyingly cold and rainy so August has been surprisingly warm and sunny. There’s been lots to do so it has felt that there is not enough weekends. After a long break I went to see the dentist and was pretty much horrified sitting in the chair, listening all the details about my teeth. Based on the amount of micro fractures in my teeth, nothing good comes this way. Apparently I should get a bite guard to be used at nights. I have noticed that in the morning my jaws and neck are quite stiff, like they have been doing heavy work through the night. But I still don’t fancy putting anything in my mouth for the night. Atleast my dental hygienist gave me good news. I don’t seem to be very prone to calculus in my teeth, even though it’s been almost three years since it was last removed. These kind of small positive things are like best news ever for people like me, who have \u00a0the fear of dentist.<\/p>\n

Did lots of trips in August, first in Vasa for picnic, then to Isokyr\u00f6 market. I already wrote about both. We also popped up at Turku Pride march at the end of the month. There was also some time to rummage around forests for mushrooms. We managed to find our first lot of penny buns. Even though it wasn’t particularly large lot and some of them had maggots and needed to throw away, we dried them and they made just enough to fill a whole jar. Next winter we will enjoy lovely mushroom sauce.<\/p>\n

In September the ballet is about to start again. I will write more about that soon. Then I need to fix couple lovely vintage dresses, which were given to me by a friend. I should also finish the stays I started several years ago. Atleast I now have plenty of reed for boning. I would also love to go mushrooming atleast one more time and perhaps even pick some lingonberries if I go absolutely bonkers. Besides those plans, we don’t really have much planned for September. Summer has been so busy again, it might be good idea just to bury myself in the corner of the sofa and read a good book or two.<\/p>\n
