Usein olen jopa joutunut\u00a0kielt\u00e4ytym\u00e4\u00e4n tekem\u00e4st\u00e4 vastatarjousta, koska tied\u00e4n esineen realistisen hinnan olevan niin kaukana omasta budjetistani ett\u00e4 olisi suorastaan loukkaus tarjota summa johon minulla olisi varaa. Se on ep\u00e4miellytt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 ja hiukan pelottavaakin.<\/p>\n

Ja sitten v\u00e4h\u00e4n kuvia. Jos meill\u00e4 olisi enemm\u00e4n tilaa, olisin halunnut tuollaiset kastilaatikot. Ja kemisti-setin. Ja jos olisi tilan lis\u00e4ksi my\u00f6skin mukavasti k\u00e4\u00e4shi\u00e4 niin olisin ostanut tuon kunnostetun grammarin, siin\u00e4 oli \u00e4lytt\u00f6m\u00e4n upea \u00e4\u00e4ni.<\/p>\n

My Summer went a bit flat because it’s been so wet lately. On the other hand, I don’t complain because atleast I don’t have to go to the ER due to dehydration and migrain. But it’s such a pitty to hang all my lovely Summer dresses in the closet! Thankfully there was a short gap on the rain so we were able to visit the Restauranta swap meet and browse some of their lovely collectibles. This time we didn’t find much though. I got some vintage snap buttons and Chaplin-type walking cane. Hubby got the fob watch chain and pepper mill he’s been looking for quite some time.<\/p>\n

Now when I finally am at the lucky mental state that I don’t have to buy everything anymore, I can just admire and browse stuff without buying, one thing has started to bug me. In these swap meets and antique fairs I can’t even look at an item (without holding it even)<\/strong><\/span> without the shopkeeper trying to sell it to me. Sometimes in quite pushy manners. If I want to look at something it doesn’t automatically mean I need or want to buy it.<\/p>\n

I do know that they are just trying to make a living, but there is a limit to the pushiness too. I find it very uncomfortable when I’m just browsing stuff and then they are forcefully trying to sell. Then I get slight anxiety about the situation and blurb out that it’s out of my budget. They return with a question how much I would be willing to pay. Quite many times I had to refuse to make an counter offer, because I knew the realistic price would be so much out of my budget that it would practically be an insult to offer the money I could actually offer. So yeah, it’s a bit intimidating.<\/p>\n

And then some photos. If we would have more space at home, I would have wanted those\u00a0typeset trays. And the chemistry set. And if I would have also nice stash of cash, I would have bought that lovely gramophone, it had such a beautiful sound.<\/p>\n
