Olen yritt\u00e4nyt 20-lukuistaa vaatekaappiani viimeaikoina. Omistan yhden aidon 20-luvun kes\u00e4mekon, mutta se on nykyisess\u00e4 tilassaan liian hauras k\u00e4ytett\u00e4v\u00e4ksi, ainakin kun kyseess\u00e4 on t\u00e4mm\u00f6inen r\u00e4h\u00e4m\u00e4k\u00e4p\u00e4l\u00e4 kuin min\u00e4. Siisp\u00e4 revamppasin pari juttua. L\u00f6ysin talvella Uffin alep\u00e4ivilt\u00e4 puuvillaisen neuleen jonka ostin alunperin miehustaan\u00a0ommellun puuvillapitsin vuoksi. Ratkoin pitsin toista projektia varten, mutta neule alkoi miellytt\u00e4\u00e4 minua niin paljon ett\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4tin tuunata sen 20-luvun tyyliseksi kes\u00e4puseroksi.<\/p>\n

Suurin ongelma oli keksi\u00e4 millaisen pitsin virkkaisin p\u00e4\u00e4ntielle. Loppu k\u00e4vikin ruutuvirkkauksella nopsasti muutamassa tunnissa. J\u00e4nn\u00e4sti\u00a0ker\u00e4ll\u00e4 lanka n\u00e4ytti saman v\u00e4riselle, virkattuna ei en\u00e4\u00e4 niink\u00e4\u00e4n, mutta oikeastaan se n\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 ihan hauskalle n\u00e4in.<\/p>\n

I have tried to push\u00a0my wardrobe more towards 1920’s recently. I own one authentic 20’s summer dress, but at the current state it is too fragile for using. Atleast for silly clumsy me (I would rip it in a flash)<\/strong><\/span>. So instead I revamped couple things. Last winter I found cotton knit from local charity shop. Originally I bought it because I wanted to repurpose the lace it had on the bodice. But then I started liking the actual knit top, so I decided to revamp it into 20’s style summer blouse.<\/p>\n

My biggest problem was to decide what kind of lace I should choose. But after that it was only several hours job. Funny enough, the yarn looked pretty correct colour when on the ball, but when it was crocheted it wasn’t the case anymore. I still like it as it is, even though it doesn’t match.<\/p>\n
