Millaiset kokemukset teill\u00e4 on monitehoista, jos teill\u00e4 sellaisia on k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I have been recently a bit anxious. I got new glasses, again. I never was particularly happy with my previous glasses (even though the frames were quite nice)<\/strong>, which I got only about a year ago<\/span><\/span>. It felt that I never really saw properly close with them. When I returned couple days later to the optician to tell them that I don’t see well to close and I have to take my glasses of to be able to work on precise stuff, they just told me to take my glasses off at work. That’s it. Within a year my eyesight has gone worse so much, that recently I have been sitting at work quite a lot without glasses to be able to see anything. Try to sew black materials with poor eyesight, or find out which side of the material is right side. So it was pretty clear I had to renew my glasses again.<\/p>\n

After the eye sight check it was pretty clear I’m becoming middle aged woman. I got my first pair of multi-focal glasses. At the same time they are my very first Converse’. As classic brand as Converse is, I have never had Converse shoes. I just don’t like them for some reason. These Converse frames however are quite light on the head. I tried pretty much all vintag-y style plastic frames with large enough lenses for multi-focals. I ended up taking these, even though I’m not so sure about the orange colour. I don’t really have anything orange in my wardrobe, except the terracotta red. Bright orange just isn’t my thing. But that doesn’t really matter much, because wearing these I look pretty much like librarian.<\/p>\n

Now I just have to adjust to new way of seeing things. Personally I think the pricing system for multi-focals is rediculous. Cheapest multi-focal lenses have very narrow reading earea. So narrow that I have to wonder if anyone is able to cope with that at all. \u00a0The wider (and more comfortable)<\/strong> <\/span>you want the reading area to be, the more you have to pay. I chose the second to largest, reading area, because my work requires quite a lot of precision, and even that feels quite narrow. I have to struggle a bit to find the correct area to see through the lens. \u00a0Instead of moving my eyes, I now have to start moving my head. Unlike in the old bi-focal lenses, there is no clear borders on the reading area, you just have to find it by moving your head. There is also quite large blurry areas on both edges of the lens. You can’t see clearly neither close nor far with those areas. Hopefully it get’s easier when time goes by. They told me at the optician it might take anything up to two weeks.<\/p>\n
